ESPN: Brandon Marshall on Reuniting With Cutler

Seems to be no substance to this, but if we were to trade Marshall to the Bears, what would we want in return? A bunch of draft picks? J'Marcus Webb and picks? Straight-up trade for Julius Peppers (dream on)?

I'd hope for what we got him for, but we wouldn't get that, it would be selling low.

Marshall didn't have a down year

Unless your talking about him catching a 100+ passes. He’s playing better then his career average.

2011 season: 81 catches 1214 yards 15.0 AVC 6TD’s

career Average: 82 catches 1041 yards 12.6 AVC 5.6TD’s

In his 6 year career Marshall has caught passes from 4 different QB’s( Cutler,Orton,Henne and Moore) yet he still produces regardless. You said he had a down year, but he made the probowl again. If you look at his stats you’ll see he belong. He’s in the top 5 in almost every catergory of importance.

Pro Bowl is a popularity contest.

His career average is tempered by his rookies season and his first in Miami. The year before he left for Miami he had 10 TD catches. What about being near the top in drops?
Most of his stats are really a product of a hell of a lot of targets. And also I’m going to say he had a down year because he didn’t start playing well till the dolphins were 0-7.

I think we keep BM to big of a weapon

I just hope we get a QB that he gets along with. Henne never was on the same page with BM. Moore was better at reading BM. So the whole chemistry thing is important. I cant wait to see what this FO whoever they are is going to do this year.
