Tell me what you think....
I think M. Moore did a great job. With the situation he had. No offseason, back up at practice for only a few months. Then Bam! Play. ...That offence in my opinion was 1 season away from being very good.Pending Reggie Bush comes in with that same Drive. But Ross couldnt wait fans couldnt wait. So w.e..Point Being We will probly go strong after Manning going for a 2 yr deal. And if we do sign him we beter draft ALL OL because 1 good shot and good-bye Manning thank you for your $50.M bill.(Im sure there would be some sort of clause in the contract. If was to get hurt we would olnly have to pay a certain ammount.)But another season wasted.
Also who do we draft this year? FA?

On the Manning thing......
Playing the QB position one good shot to any of those guys could be the end of their season. That’s kind of like saying one good shot to Brady’s knee and that’s it. I know everyone is worried about injury but the guy hadn’t missed a game until doctors started digging around in his neck. He’s pretty durable for the most part. If he is healthy and is cleared to play I see no reason not to go after him IF and this is a BIG IF this coaching staff thinks they can win a SB with him in the next couple years. If not you move on and start planning for the future.
2 years ago if Manning was a FA 99% of people would have wanted him. Therefore IF he is healthy and were to clear a physical, I don’t see why people are so torn now.
ill fully support manning
But I see us trading up for rgIII

Manning will be Plan A but if it doesn't work out I agree with you
“A Dolphins source tells the Miami Herald that the team’s offseason priority is to acquire Peyton Manning.
It makes us wonder if the Colts might pay Manning’s March 8 roster bonus and try to swing him to the Dolphins in a trade. Per the Herald, the Dolphins have not even shown preliminary interest in free agent Matt Flynn. The Fins apparently believe they have a roster ready to compete for Super Bowls after the addition of a franchise quarterback. Even if it’s only a quick fix."

so Manning can only play 3-4 more years ...sign him to a 4 year deal... get 4 SB rings..
Think about what he did with a 2 win team the year before… If he can do that with a crappy 2 win team, imagine what he could do with a 6 win team?
We had [Brady] down… but we didn’t kick him. We helped him up and gave him a PowerPuff Girls band-aid for his knee. What exactly did you expect would happen when we did that?

I wouldn't worry to much about Peyton getting hit
because the man is on another level when it comes to detecting pressure in the pocket and knows when to get rid of the ball, one thing you could never say about Manning is that he held the ball for too long. Over his 13 year career Peyton has been sacked for a total of 204 times, that’s an average of 15 sacks a season. Any given team in the NFL will average anywhere between 30 -50 sacks a season.

That being said
if we do get Manning we will get him a shiney new RT in the 1st round of the draft.

He is the least hit QB of all time I think I heard someone say...

Matt Moore did better than anticipated but he was nowhere near great
He doesn’t have good accuracy and if it wasn’t for some great catches by Bess and Hartline (even Fasano made some close to circus catches) his % would have been very low. Go and rewatch the games, look at his short throws (especially to Bess) every pass is behind Bess and he has to make adjustments just to get his hands on the ball.
Since it was the most recent look at the one where Bess got injured against the Jets. Bess had to adjust to make the catch on a 10 yard throw by the time he turned with the ball, Bart Scott was coming in low. If Moore hits him on the numbers or even leads him a little he would have had his head around to see Scott going in for the hit.

Matt Moore has the ability to make some great throws...
But with Peyton Manning you EXPECT good throws. If you have 55 seconds left on the clock and the ball on the 20 yard line.. who do you want at QB… Manning or Moore?

Let me take a minute to think about that one
OK………….I’ll take John Beck, I mean I’ll take Cleo Lemon, no Trent Green, Coldpepper, Henne? anyone?anyone? god damn just put the place holder in and let him throw the damn ball.

Manning would be a stop gap QB for maybe 2 years
hell dont even know if going to be healthy. I think hes been a great QB but i would rather get a long term franchise guy for this team. havent we had enough retreads. No offence to Manning, hes hurt, 36 yo and going to cost a fortune for just 2 yrs. I’m sure the Dolphims are going to have interest but I do hope they try and move up and get a QB they can build around.
Voted 6 time" MVP"..... Summercamp Pantyraid winner !!!!!!!!!
Same here
Not sure if Manning will ever be the same QB ya’ll remember. This injury is not like others, but might/could be permanent. Would you buy a car that has paper thin rod bearings, or would you rather have a new model that may be a future classic, one that will go a long, long way. The Colts could well be selling a car that has run it’s best miles and is very close to having a blown engine.
