Mannings likely destination

I got to thinking and as much as I would love to see Peyton here in Miami and really don't think that we are all that impressive to him YET. However, for some reason I see the San Francisco 49ners as a likely landing spot for him, if he were to enter free agency. What do you think????

Kind of Dolphin related

It makes sense to me

especially after how close the 49ners came to the Superbowl, who know after the game there had to be whispers in the locker room about Smith. They have everything he would be looking for: good head coach, good defense, good recievers for the most part, and play in a weak divison. And San Fran can continue to groom Kaepernick but this time he will be learning from the best, it’s a win win for all parties involved.

Well, I suppose

San Fran’s climate would as close to a dome-like environ for the god-like Manning, but Harbaugh’s too young new for the god Manning to be annoyed by. As well, god’s teach not to young QB’s. It’s ungodly. Just ask Curtis Painter.

I never got a prize for doing what was expected of me.

Good receivers?

They have Crabtree. That’s pretty much it. And from what I understand he hasn’t been all that good. They do have Vernon Davis at TE though.

Not going to front

San Fran WR corp is pretty weak but Manning will make anyone look like a pro bowler just look at Garcon (he is good but Peyton made him look real good.)

I hope he goes to the 9ers...

So he doesn’t come here

Miami's Superstars: Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall, Jake Long, Mike Pouncey, Karlos Dansby, Cameron Wake, Vontae Davis and Sean Smith (just wait), Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Mike Stanton, Gaby Sanchez, Hanley Ramirez, Josh Johnson, Heath Bell, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes, Tomas Fleischmann, Stephen Weiss, Jose Theodore, and Chris Versteeg. :)

I don't see them throwing Alex Smith on the scap heap after the yeasr they had.

You bring in Manning your whole offence changes.

We’ll have a brand nerw OC and if we get Manning the O will be tailored to him. If we’re serious about it we’ll hire Tom Moore. Our O personalle is a good for for Manning…you think Reggie Bush had a good year? He’ll explode if we get 18.

If I were trying to land him I’d take Jake Long along with me

I thought about us trying to snag Tom Moore as our OC just the other day

or even Caldwell for that fact (I think Caldwell would be a great QB coach for us by the way.) I agree Reggie would be doing back flips do play alongside #18

I dont get your last part “If I were trying to land him I’d take Jake Long along with me”?

I think Manning would be reassured to see who would be looking after his blindside.

He never really had a Pro Bowl LT the whole time he was in Indy

Can you say…Roger Craig? He’ll have a 1000/1000 season and we’ll see all types of stuff. It could be sick!

There is a rumor swiring that Peyton has already been traded to the 49ers...

it was apparently a radio comment made… which is still a rumor until confirmed. Also saw this posted elsewhere… unable to find it as of yet

Sportswire: Breaking news out of San Francisco. Multiple sources are reporting a tentative deal to send Peyton Manning to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for draft picks is nearly complete. Completion of the transaction would be contingent on a physical and release of medical information. Check back for updates.

Other things ive heard as possible destinations..

1) Colts- staying put
2) Dolphins
3) Redskins
4) Cardinals
5) New York Jets
