Reports: Joe Paterno in Serious Condition, Family and Friends Summoned to Hospital

This may not be Dolphins news, but it is football news. Paterno has been hospitalized since January 13 fighting cancer, but complications seem to have him in serious conditions.

Paterno's fall from worshiped head coach at Penn State, to exiled leader due to the sex scandal at the school, to now this has been incredibly fast and tragic.

Reports are also saying the police have barricaded the area around Paterno's home - which can't be a good sign.

This is such an awful way to go

It’s such a shame that all of this happened so suddenly. How incredibly fast he faded away as far as his respect, reputation, legacy, and his life. Such a sad situation.
