McCoy?

If the dolphins got either chud or philbin I would be excited for next season. Chud can develop QBs and has an explosive offense. If we drafted RGIII it would be ideal for chud to be our coach. If we couldn’t get RGIII (which it looks like it) then the next best thing would to grab philbin, grab his QB coach and then grab flynn.

McCoy on the other hand, no thank you. He had some success with Orton but he is unproven. He may be the next greatest coach or he may not be. If Ross wants to make a splash I don’t think he does it with McCoy.

at this point i wouldnt mind either philbin or McCoy

Philbin brings experiance, motivation and the ability to develop QBs. McCoy brings adaptability and the ability to create a playbook based on the strengths and weaknesses of the players given to him. Philbin will make the players play better, while McCoy will make the players look like they are playing better. The problem is that philbin’s ideas will fade out eventually, while McCoy’s Shula-like adaptability will allow him to use his players in the best way possible.

Yes I read this article earlier today...

Diggin' deeper.

So everyone is talking about how McCoy was able to adapt to Tebow, and change the game plan to tailor his abilites. BS. Bronc’s O played worse than monkeys trying to play football, for 3 and a half quarters then came Tebow time.

after reading this, McCoy has grown on me

If it’s Philbin or McCoy, we’ll be getting a good offensive minded coach
