The answers Cole gives are some of the same things I’ve wondered about Ireland. He needs to step up and take credit or blame. I don’t think they really care what we think as fans. Take for example AJ Smith in San Diego. He is a complete ass. Yet when asked about why he does something he tells it like it is. Love it or hate it. An you have no questions about his drafts for the most part. IMO.What coaches or FAs think is a different matter though.

Its like people want Carmichael to coach here. Guess what? Not going to happen. IMO. Payton and TS are best friends. You think Carmichael is going to come here? Any coach coming from a solid Franchise is going to look at us and compare us to what they have experience with. I’m surprised Philben is willing to come here. If he wants the job give it to him and let him put things in place to win.

I’ll ask these questions. If you were a coach. Would you want some say in who you can cut or keep on your Roster? You would want that in writting Correct? If you want a specific player in the draft or FA. Should a coach have some say in getting that player or not? Should a coach have final say? IMO a coach should be able to get the players he wants. If the numbers or cost to get those players is to much then the GM should have Veto power. Do I feel a coach should be running the Draft? No. He should have imput into it though.

Jason Cole is a tool.

The structure of the team looks pretty clear to me. Ross owns the team. Ireland reports to Ross and everyone else reports to Ireland. Peterson is an independent contractor that Ross trusts and holds no position on the team.

Jason Cole, like a lot of other national writers, have no agenda. They just report what everyone else thinks.

If the perception around the league is that the structure or organization of the Dolphins is flawed, then it is flawed. Perception IS reality. Peter King said the same thing about how someone should approach the Dolphins Organization. He tweeted “Proceed With Caution”.

They have no agenda? Don’t be so naive. There agenda is to generate web hits and sell ad space. No more, no less. Factual content is secondary to integrity. Deadlines to meet and nothing to write = a source close to the negotiations.

Mike Lombardi broke the news that Brian Schottenheimer was the new OC of the Rams. Why on earth would they be interviewing Hue Jackson tomorrow for the same position?

sounds to me that what the real root of the problem is that jeff dont talk to the media so they are frustrated with no news since he aint out here hand holding them and laying his plans out for all to see. so they make up there own storiesand of course to get viewers to read it is always bad.. myself i dont care to ever see jeff standing in front of the mics. leave the man along and let him do his dang job.. you want to hear someone talk let the coachs and players do it.

get off the mans back already he is doing a good job. so sorry he just aint holding a presser every time he picks up the phone.
