So i just had a scary thought. Is it possible that Philbin is taking a cue from Fisher and showing public interest in the dolphins only a leverage tool to get more money somewhere else?

Philbin doesn’t have the reputation like Fisher to be able to pull it off. Everyone will try and leverage a little bit for more money, but Philbin is not in position to pressure a team to offer more money or threaten he’d walk somewhere else. If Miami offers the job to Philbin, he’ll take it. If he didn’t want it, he wouldn’t have interviewed for a second time today.
