Really

He must be really considered as a front runner don’t you think. For the Fins to ask him to come in so soon after the death of his son. AND for him to actually come. I think there might be something there.

Absolutely

I forget which media personality said this, but Philbin graded out the highest of any Dolphins-approved coaching candidate.

2012: Whitney Mercilus or Courtney Upshaw in the first round; Nick Foles or Ryan Tannehill in the second round.

Well he was just in Tampa interviewing and it speaks volumes to his character for him to coach while going through the tragedy of losing his son

Good point. I think I would want to work thorugh the pain, though

Reflecting on the death of a loved one is the most painful experience in the human condition, and I wouldn’t be able to handle idle time in such a scenario.

I am cool with Philbin or McCoy

Really not into the idea of Bowles. Sorry, Todd.

But he kinda reminds me of Cam Cameron. /sigh

lol. I can see that

Except we have a much better team in place than when Scam Scameron was in town. Maybe that will help? Anyone? (Crosses fingers, curls into fetal position)

I like McCoy because he's basically proven he can work with a wide variety of QBs

He’s going to need that skill in Miami.

But the Broncos offense wasn't scoring any points

It was Defense keep it close and let Tebow win it at the end of the game. Kinda like when we had Chad Pennington. I’m not sold on him

They scored points last week against a stiff (albeit banged up) Steelers defense

And honestly, it’s Tim Tebow. lol. Consider what McCoy was working with in Denver. If anything, the fact that he customized the offense for Tebow should speak volumes. How many OCs would bother with that? Atlanta couldn’t even be bothered to customize its offense for Michael Vick.

McCoy also proved he can get the ball to Brandon Marshall.

Yea but how many points did they score against a weak Patriots defense?

and how many points were they scoring during the season?

Again, we're talking about Tim Tebow here

He has a high football IQ, but he’s very much one dimensional at this point. Pats realized that and committed to stopping the Broncos’ passing game (which forced the Broncos to run the ball ad nauseum). Bill Belichick didn’t earn three SB rings by allowing guys like Tim Tebow to beat him with an option-based offense. Problem is, that’s the offense Tim Tebow prefers to work in. The deck was pretty much stacked against McCoy unless he figured out a way to graft Andrew Luck’s arm onto Tebow’s body.

I’d say McCoy did a pretty solid job of making lemonade out of lemons this season.

I always thought Mueller looked like Francis Buxton from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.

50.

He’ll want to bring Flynn with him. To be fair he’s been successful wherever he’s gone and he loves his tight ends. He was a TE himself.

I keep changing my mind, but I’m kinda leaning towards Carmichael. Apparently he’s about to interview.
