His age is catching up to him...
I think we should pool up our money here at the Phinsider and buy TCP one of those Hoveround chairs for his birthday…

that would be nice, assuming no one trades up higher
There’s a coach in St. Louis trying to rebuild a team.
"The first thing I do when I get out of bed and feel the jolt in my knees is think of Roy Winston. On the second step, my calcified Adam's apple starts bobbing, and I think of Carl Eller. A few more steps in the dark and it's Willie Lanier. By the time I get to the bathroom, I'm flashing back to Dick Butkus and Ray Nitschke. And when the light finally comes on, I just hope that somewhere in the darkness they're thinking of me, too" - Larry Csonka.

And if he trades away all his picks to fill one hole,
good luck to him.
More of Moore in 2012!
Coples for our new 4-3!

Alpha would gladly fill that hole

I'm not sure that's a requirement for him.

Ireland, it's time to redeem yourself with this fan base...
…call up Tom Heckert and make this statement a reality
Miami's Superstars: Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall, Jake Long, Mike Pouncey, Karlos Dansby, Cameron Wake, Vontae Davis and Sean Smith (just wait), Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Mike Stanton, Gaby Sanchez, Hanley Ramirez, Josh Johnson, Heath Bell, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes, Tomas Fleischmann, Stephen Weiss, Jose Theodore, and Chris Versteeg. :)
i replied to a fanshot yesterday sayong the exact same thing.
It would cost less and cleveland who may be targetting trent richardson could get him anywhere in the top ten. Everyone in the top ten except for the colts have rbs. And we all know the colts will NOT be taking a rb. Hopefully Ireland is planting the seeds for a trade up now.
Where is Oronde Gadsden when we need him?

I'm still standing by it
My #1 hope this offseason is that Washington goes all in for Matt Flynn. I think Cleveland would be in an awesome position if they traded down to us at 8/9 and picked up a couple extra picks and still got Trent Richardson, and I definitely see that as a possibility. If we don’t get RG3 though, I could see us going a number of ways but basically taking BPA, even if that means trading down.
"Every island has a beach and mine there will be called Beast Beach."
Leading the drive for our new offensive coordinator: Mr. Dan Marino
St. Louis is safer but more expensive
Cleveland is riskier but cheaper.
However, as long as CLE is not set on RGIII they could greatly benefit by moving down 4 spots and STILL getting Richardson. Plus we could throw in a 2nd rounder. Done deal.
I'm ALL- IN. Do whatever it takes to get Andrew Luck or RGIII to Miami in 2012.

too risky to wait til the 4th pick
Someone could trade up higher. I’d still trade up for 2nd if possible

If we want RGlll. Then don't take a chance. Move up to #2 or #3 and get him. Fisher owes us one.

this is good for us
it means they are willing to trade down, however it doesnt stop other teams from moving up to #2/#3 or even outbidding us for #4. When it comes to potentially getting a franchise QB, I dont mess around. As far as I’m concerned, if we decide RGIII is the guy, we move up to #2.

rg3 vs flynn
Just curious which would phans like to see next year?
by PAPHIN4ever on Jan 17, 2012 5:21 PM EST via mobile up reply actions
I would be more okay
with getting RG3 and having that not work vs getting another free agent QB that turns out to be a bust (Flynn). Remember AJ Feely? And Kevin Kolb isn’t looking to wonderful for AZ either for what they gave up to get him. If your giving up picks, get RG3…. not a FA. Show the fans you can get it done!
