2012 NFL Mock Draft 1.0
Well I thought I would put forth a mock draft of my own. I only did the first 9 picks because the only concern for Miami fans is what happens in those first 9 picks. Please feel free to comment as that is the best part. Also for more indepth analysis as to why I think Miami gets RGIII please click the link below for another FanPost I have submitted.
1. Indianapolis Colts: Andrew Luck QB/Stranford- We all know who is getting drafted here.
2. Former St. Louis Rams Pick(Trade to Miami Dolphins): RGIII QB/Baylor- It is time for Miami to invest in a first round QB and after the two HC blunders by Ross he will be looking to make a splash for redemption. Read my other article for more indepth analysis, link below.
3. Minnesota Vikings: Matt Kalil OT/USC- For Christian Ponder to develop he needs stability along the line nobody better than Kalil.
4. Cleveland Browns: Trent Richardson RB/Alabama- When Peyton Hillis gave Colt McCoy a rushing attack he showed potential I believe this is the year Holmgren tells Colt to prove that he is a franchise QB or he is out. Read my other article for more indepth analysis, link below.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Morris Claiborne CB/LSU- In a division with Drew Brees, Matt Ryan and Cam Newton pass defense needs to be a priority for TB and Morris is best CB in draft.
6. Washington Redskins: Justin Blackmon WR/OK ST.- Mike Shanahan does not have time to develop QB and he loves veterans. I believe Matt Flynn will go to Washington. So why not give Flynn a playmaker. Read my other article for more indepth analysis, link below.
7.Jacksonville Jaguars: Alshon Jeffery WR/South Carolina- Expect Mike Mularkey to give Blaine Gabbert a playmaker. Expecially since Mularkey will try and get somebody close to Julio Jones like he pushed for in Atlanta.
*8. Carolina Panthers: Quinton Coples DE/NC- Almost same boat as TB with all solid QB's in division and Ron Rivera as HC expect defensive pick here. Might be Kirkpatrick but if a team does not have a pass rush good CBs do not really matter.
*9. Former Miami Dolphins Pick(Trade to St. Louis Rams): Riley Reiff OT/Iowa- Fisher will want to rebuild team to the way he wants so expect him to trade 2nd overall pick in draft to acquire an abundance of picks. Expect Fisher to try and solidify line for Bradford. Micheal Floyd is a possibility but with Vincent Jackson hitting FA expect Rams to push hard for his services to give Bradford a playmaker. Read my other article for more indepth analysis, link below.

What do I think the Miami Dolphins will do about the QB situation?
Just what they did in last year’s draft. Nothing. Until Ross and his boy Ireland show that they want to play with the big boys, it will be Moore/Devlin maybe Henne or some other also-ran at QB again. Riley Reiff, c’mon down. Another OLineman in the first round. It’s what we do.

We had [Brady] down… but we didn’t kick him. We helped him up and gave him a PowerPuff Girls band-aid for his knee. What exactly did you expect would happen when we did that?

Sure they can.
Matt Moore outplayed Henne’s entire career in half a year. If they felt comfortable enough with Henne last year, they will most assuredly feel comfortable with Matt Moore. We currently have the talent to make the playoffs, it all depends on what the new coach can get from the players. Well, we do have to replace Taylor, that’s a must. I honestly believe fixing our O-Line and getting a top pass-rusher will solve our post-season woes.
More of Moore in 2012!
Coples for our new 4-3!
'Phins phor Liphe!
Moore outplayed Henne, yes.
Yet Moore hasn’t shown he can win games in crunch time…he’s a career backup. In my opinion, If we fail to draft a quality QB or pass on Flynn in FA, don’t look for playoffs anytime soon.

He was looking pretty good against The Patriots at the end there...
Had we actually attempted an onsides kick, we just might have won that game.

So your contention is they'll do nothing until they do something?
Going out on a limb?
I think this is the year we go get RG3.
Instead of Kalil the Rams will settle for Reiff and an extra first round pick.

Chris, two questions for ya'. One, why do you refer to yourself as a god? Seriously?
Second why do you have three posts and only three comments? Just wondering…….

Confidence
Q1: Got to have confidence in yourself. Most people back down and fail to attempt things because of a lack of confidence. If you have confidence in yourself people will be shocked at what they can do. So that is why I view my self as a god or the newest addition to the Greek Gods. ChrisTheGod the god of greatness.
Q2: I just joined The Phinsider like 3 days ago and have never seen a website were fans can post their own articles. So I might be going a little overboard with fanpost but I love it. You guys do a great job with this site keep it up.

Here is a Great quote.
When Abdul-Jabbar finished his career with the Los Angeles Lakers and had his number retired at the Los Angeles Forum, he was asked who was the greatest player he had played with or against. After a long silence, he answered, “That would have to be ‘The Goat’”.5

yay for RG3!
I'm ALL- IN. Do whatever it takes to get Andrew Luck or RGIII to Miami in 2012.
Laces out!
-2008 AFC East Champions-
BRANDON MARSHALL- FUTURE MIAMI HOF WR!!!!!
Tom Brandstater- more TD's than completions. Last person to tell him that's not possible, well, nobody has seen him since.
Fans want RGIII, but..
need to wait to see who was the new HC, if was some defensive guy meybe a DE or LB was taken in first round (inclusive trade down to get more picks)
If Philbin was hired as HC Matt Flynn was ther starter next season
If a ofensive guy was hired, a trade up for RG was posible, but if Daboll remains as OC meybe inclusive Henne could have a shot to compete with Moore for starting job…
This is the best mock draft I have seen yet...
The only way I am going to be happy is if we pick up a QB in the 1st round.
We had [Brady] down… but we didn’t kick him. We helped him up and gave him a PowerPuff Girls band-aid for his knee. What exactly did you expect would happen when we did that?
Can anyone name a time when a FO sold the farm to move into a top spot and draft a QB
And were actually successful?
Anyone?
How about for any position? Trading a boatload of picks to grab a guy like… say… Ricky Williams or Julio Jones?
How’s Atlanta doing now?
NYG traded a heck of a lot for Eli Manning.
Didn’t Denver once upon a time make a big trade for a newly drafted John Elway?
