Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Was anybody else bothered by the 3rd down punt last night?

Doing stuff like that in a playoff game just kind of feels like poor sportsmanship to me. If they had of tried that on a prouder defense that could have gotten ugly with someone taking a shot at Brady. Things could have gotten out of hand quickly, and for what? It's not the end of the world, it's just that you do have to worry about the integrity of the game a little bit IMO.

I was mystified by the fact Brady was on the field at all

The punt is just another sign that his Hoodiness operates on a whole other set of priorities than most coaches.
Most coaches would have pulled most of their starters when they had a 35-point lead.
The only reason I could come up with to leave Brady in after that was to give him a shot at 7 td passes and the record….Hoyer or Mallett could haved handed the ball of and killed clock just as well as Brady did.
Was the quick kick disrespectfull…obviously the Broncos thought so…but I really don’y think respect enters into Belichik’s game plan

yes it was

disrespectful but really have you ever seen the Gaytriots show anyone respect? Theyre a bunch of egotistical assholes when they win & a bunch of crying ass whiners when they lose.No class at all.

Not sure what Patriots you watch...

but they (especially Brady) seem very humble in their losses. I know they are a division rival and we are supposed to “hate” them, but I actually have a lot of respect for Brady. He plays like a champ and always shows class and says the right things. I could only wish the Fins had a QB like him; although, I like this Matt Moore kid… Not saying he’s Brady, but I like his attitude.

I don’t really see a problem with it. Obviously, Brady shouldn’t have been in the game, but other than that, what’s the problem? 3rd down in your own territory, already have a big lead, so why not catch them off guard with a punt? Honestly, if anyone besides the Patriots did this, would you have a problem with it?
