i can see this being true for a good number of people

But that’s not the reason I absolutely HATE Tim Tebow. I live in CO so I am very much in the middle of the firestorm that he has become and the reason I loathe him with every fiber of my being is as follows. His numbers as an NFL QB are absolutely putrid. For a majority of the games he has played the Broncos offense has failed to score more than 17 points. The Denver D has been the one getting the credit for the wins as they have been lights out and given up very few points to most teams they play. Any other team, the Defense would be given the credit, like the 49ers for example. Yet for some unknown reason all of the glory is being put into the glorified RB they like to call a QB. Then he comes out and basks in it, just soaks up every ounce he can get. But then when someone else comes out and says the D deserves credit for what they’ve done, Tebow comes out and says that not one person should try to take all the credit, even though he is the one who is doing that exact thing. He is the most overrated player in sports and a complete glory hound. Sorry to rant but this Tebow crap is driving me nuts!

Our country is made up of a lot of "groupie" type people

They love to put someone on a pedestal.

You're not seeing it.

Don’t look at his numbers. Don’t even look at him as a QB. Look at him as a folk hero. A pied piper leading the merry folk of Denver on his merry way.
I think it’s great fun.

He's right. No one person deserves the credit. Not him,not champ bailey, but the team.

He (and the rest of his offense) makes plays when they really count, their defense hold their opponents to low scores (usually, not the pats, though, lol), their offensive line keep their QB upright, they have a great pass rush, and their kicker has come through in the clutch many times

No one person deserves the credit…. Hats wrong with him saying that? He’s right!

On top of that, you contradicted yourself when you said that on any other team, the defense would be getting credit. The defense is not just one person, by the way. So if the defense was given the credit, not just one person would be given the credit, just like Tebow said…

So any way you look at it… tebow is right and he isn’t doing anything wrong

Miami's Superstars: Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall, Jake Long, Mike Pouncey, Karlos Dansby, Cameron Wake, Vontae Davis and Sean Smith (just wait), Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Mike Stanton, Gaby Sanchez, Hanley Ramirez, Josh Johnson, Heath Bell, Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes, Tomas Fleischmann, Stephen Weiss, Jose Theodore, and Chris Versteeg. :)

Why would a dolphin fan hate tim tebow

That game was incredible in a terrible way and I almost cried. But that man deserves the credit and I would much rather tebow win the superbowl than brady. The reason it’s fun rooting for tebow is because he’s so terrible
Tim tebow is a really nice guy, he’s really presumptuous but that’s just because he believes so feverishly in his religon and his teammates.
Brady’s just a cheating dickhead.

The only Chad Henne supporter left.

People hate him for stupid reasons like he isn't a real QB, or because he is too religios or something stupid like that

I could understand if you are a UM fan Ora rival team’s fan whay you would hate him (because he is a rival)

But the reality is this guy is the epitome of a role model. He doesn’t talk crap, he doesn’t show off, he doesn’t get in trouble with the law (drugs, DUI, assault) and yet, people loathe him

Why don’t people hate Vincent Jackson who has a attitude on the field, demands more money, gets hit with 2 DUIs, and does his fair share of smack-talk? Because he doesn’t get the media attention?

It’s not Tebow’s fault that he gets the credit for the comebacks. He does what he can to win the games, and you can’t dislike someone for that
