The 2009 NFL Champion New Orleans Saints travel to Wisconsin tonight to play the 2010 NF Champion Green Bay Packers. Drew Brees vs. Aaron Rodgers. Even amid a 136 day lockout, the NFL schedule makers got this one right.
The Super Bowl champion has won the season opener every year since 1999. That year, our beloved Miami Dolphins defeated the defending champion Denver Broncos 38-21. That game marked the first Broncos game since John Elway retired following the Super Bowl.
Enjoy tonight and realize, it's just four days until Monday Night Football turns on the cameras in Sun Life Stadium and the Dolphins host the New England Patriots.

i think we can too
ive never been so unsure of my phins heading into a season…we could easily steal the division from the slowly going downhill pats and the overrated jets
or we could all watch Henne continue not being the guy we need straight to a 6 win season
Thats one reason I am glad about the monday game; it should prove to be a wonderful yardstick with which to somewhat measure how this season will play out

I think he’ll play ok. He might have a lot of catches, but just like in NO, his YPC catch and rush numbers will be meh. He may be decently suited for a Daboll type offense however.

A repeat of the NO situation will happen: they’ll try running him at the LOS and he’ll fail pretty badly. Daboll will realize early they have to get Bush the ball in space to be successful. So Bush may have 80+ catches, but it might only be for 8 or 9 yards/catch. He’ll be decent but not the “weapon” a lot of people expect. He be the volume underneath receiver but not a big play guy for the most part.

They were one of the best O-lines in 2010 in terms of protection. They were like 3rd best or something in sacks yielded. Stafford got hurt by getting out of the pocket. But they still need a quality LT. Should be their top priority.
