A funny thing happened today,...

With the season fast approaching and the Cleveland game soon to follow I've been amping up my Dolphins activity the last few days. Starting to get my tailgating set-up organized, last thing you want is to get 2 hours from home to discover something is missing. Then there is always the idea of customizing something,.....another table/clothes, who knows. Anyways I ordered something online for the Wifey ( Dolphins related....) and I was wondering why it hasn't come yet, so I check the tracking and it said it was left at the door. Well, my Mom almost never uses the front door here so it went unnoticed. I go to retrieve it and there it was with another undiscovered piece of mail from FedEx. 

It seems my timing for registering for the DCC got me two tickets and a parking pass to the final game of the pre season. They overnighted it on Aug. 31st,......to Ohio. The game was on Sept 1st,......in Miami. 

I would have went,...if they would've sent a plane ticket too.....

Speaking of the DCC,....I've been riding my ass off. Training rides have been going 25-30 miles 4/5 times a week. There is an "A", "B", & "C" class for the longer rides. The speed for their "A" is 18-20 MPH. My average is 17.5 to 18.5, but I know its slowed by stopping at traffic lights and slowing to cross streets. On long uninterrupted stretches to ride above 20/21 MPH most of the time. Wind also plays a part in this too. But all in all I feel like I should be able to ride this strong. 

Now for the fundraising,....

I've smashed it ! They said 1st time / out-of-state riders only had to raise half. Over $750 in like two days. Got to $1600 in just under two weeks. F'n amazing ! And,....over $750 came from this little blog. THANK YOU !

BUT,...QUITTERS NEVER WIN, AND WINNERS NEVER QUIT. 

Cancer sucks, that's why I'm asking for more help. Five dollars,......just five dollars. I have a personal goal of 150 sponsors, and 29 have answered the call. I WILL get more sponsors. I got more friends to hit up, the Toledo Fanclub,The Deep End Crew, panhandling in Cleveland and Miami,.....it will most definitely increase my bottom line. 

I could stop right now, but I'm not going too....
