lol definitely some homer picks in there bruh bruh

i agree with Jake Long and Cam Wake, Idk if BM gonna start, but he could make it if the offense stays on track. I don’t like making Pro Bowl picks before the season ever starts, cause u never know what can happen during the season

Yeah, there were some....

But, of the 8 I picked, Marshall could make it, maybe.

Long – of course.

Starks should have made it last year, and didn’t. I think that gets fixed this year.

Soliai – Couldn’t decide who, other than Wilfork, will make it at NT – so I picked Soliai. Dount he actually makes it, but it’s a Dolphins; fan’s picks, so why not.

Wake – went last year, should make it again.

Vonate – Why not Vontae? Nnamdi is gone, so someone has to fill the slot. If Vontae keeps the focus on him, and he performs, that will get the votes.

Fields – Who cares about the punter? Fields has a good average, and he could do it.

DC$ – 2009 Pro Bowler – why not again?

John Denney – Because I didn’t feel like trying to figure out who would get the long snapper slot, so I gave it to Denney.

So, yeah, there’s a homerism aspect to it, but, oh well.

2). Soliai; belongs no mater what the birds R chirping on espn!
3). Wake; is the other side of that coin period!
4). Ever sence Shul; got in Miami the dolphins were getting prefferenchel treatment becouse he was on the rules comittee, or maybe it was cuz we’re the only “Undefeated team” in the NFL!
5). Fields; looks awsum this year you might be on to sumthing there!
6). DC$; is one of my heros TY!
7). John Denney make it happen!!

vick over rodgers? fairley as a rookie? Brian Waters even though he might not start?

Owen Daniels over Gates? Calvin and Fitz over Roddy?….a lot of interesting picks…but if Ray Rice is the rushing champ there is very little chance Foster goes in over him because if Foster is healthy then he is the rushing champ,,,and call me crazy but I think Sean Smith will make it over Vontae

by tonyy on Sep 7, 2011 8:36 AM EDT up reply actions

Vick over Rodgers because of the fan love for Vick - he'll get the votes.

Fairley as a rookie because of the attention Suh gets.

Waters was…umm….well, he was a guess.

Roddy was on their originally, and Fitzpatrick wasn’t, but I think Fitzpatrick is going to have a huge year, and I think Johnson shines, as long as Stafford is healthy. I could really go with any of those three filling the two starting positions, and not blink about it.

I think Foster gets in because I think the Texans will be winning their division, while I don’t think the Ravens will (Pitt). But, I think Rice ends up the rushing champ just because he will probably get a head start as Foster heals.

I could see Smith over Davis.

John Denney has also been in the Pro Bowl.

He went to the Pro Bowl last year as Coach’s decision.

9 starters, thats 40% of the team

are you just predicting that many so if one or two of them stick, you can say i told you so

by FishNFinz on Sep 7, 2011 9:08 AM EDT up reply actions

Nope. Read above.

Some of them were 100% homer picks (Denney, Fields, Soliai).

Some of them I think will make it (Wake, Starks, Long, Davis)

Some of them I could go either way – I think they will be deserving, but maybe not starters (Marshall, Carpenter)

Denney was a Pro Bowler last year

So it’s not exactly a homer pick.

Looks good Mosul, but I do have a question.

Was there a specific reason you had James Laurinaitis at OLB for the NFC? He plays MLB for the Rams.

the maurkice and jake long picks are depending on the health of those two

Granted I doubt they keep pouncey out long, but the injury could have some nagging effects on his performance, jake long too,but hes prooven he can play through worse.

In the afc,i see them at least giving one jet the nod, perhaps revis, perhaps santonio holmes. Mebbe even pouha, its a popularity contest after all.

On another note,i just dont see ingram getring the nod for oroy, locker is playing some good football for a rookie, and this year features some good offensive talent.

Droy,probably going to a cb,or fairley.

Rushing champ, most likely chris johnson. I see him playing like a league leading rb,especially now that hes being paid like one. Especially since they are gonna have to play a rookie qb the later half of the season.

REC'D for the Dolphins love.

The only thing that I might have done differently is send Langford as the DE instead of Starks. It seems that Langford is getting the “hype” this year. Since the pro bowl is basically a popularity contest, he might be the one to make it!

However, since the Dolphins have the best defensive line in the NFL, I wouldn’t be surprised if both Starks and Langford make it….

Honestly?

Who really cares about the pro bowl? It is the biggest joke of a game in all of professional sports. The players only see it as a free vacation and no one watches the game on tv because it’s lame. Why do they even play the game? What purpose does it serve other than to further kiss the butts of a bunch of millionaires and line the pockets of the league? Completely useless.
