Sparano said he might again change the practice routine this week, in advance of Sunday’s game at San Diego. He did that last week, staging a competition between the offense and defense after every practice. To close Friday’s practice, he had the offense get the ball at the 50-yard line with 45 seconds left – a situation similar to the end of Sunday’s game, when the Dolphins had the ball at the Browns 47 and 36 seconds left.

Hartline scored a touchdown to close that practice exercise. The Dolphins didn’t gain a yard in that situation Sunday.
