Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Some interesting Dolphin facts...

Just looking back at some statistics, back in 2007 the 1-15 team under Cam, we played the same divisions. is this history repeating itself?? But also what was really the interesting part, we had a total of 22 turnovers that season including 5 total against the Patriots that year (with Randy Moss) and 3 against Philly. IF we had that defense now we would be 3-0 and not 0-3. Can we get some playmakers in here on defense so the offense would not be placed in such bad situations?? We are supposed to have one of the best defenses coming in and bad offense now every game lost so far has been because of the defense not making stops when they should have.

Defense is playing terrible....

How many high draft picks do we have…they are playing like crap.
DANSBY – 11 total tackles thru 3 games…. and people said he would bee as good as zack thomas… (not me, I tried pointing this out after the first year) Now Dansby is really playing below average… Misi ? ha haaa 5 tackles 2 assists…. yea abother bust so far..

Franchise QB... NOW !!! ...Draft Ryan Mallett ...Draft some Freakin speed for a change. WR & RB speed kills......

dansby wasnt a draft pick of ours

he is good though… maybe crowder was better than many of us thought?

Probably just a coincidence that he got cut and the rest of the D decided to suck.

I think its easy to look for anything or anyone to blame things on when things go south.

i point to last season, when crowder was injurred, and when he returned

made that stride to top 5 when he was back. leadership is important

Thats the point

If our D was taking away 22 TO’s a year which would give us good yardage against teams we would be putting up more points than we are. Also we need people in positions to make plays period, if Sporano lets Dabol open the offense up like he wanted to he would. I think that after losing to NE that Sporano figures well it didnt work your way so we will do it my way which we see what has happened the last 2 games. Sporano inherited a good D in year 1 and he has since completely crapped it out…trying to make others the scapegoats for his bad coaching, its always the line, ginn, crowder, safeties not making plays etc. Its the head coaching, if we put ourselves in a good lead we will know “ok they have to throw the ball” then we can set up for that and it will help the defense out, but if games are close then other teams will still be multidimensional and be able to attack us however they want instead of us taking that away and making them play a one dimensional game.

Plenty of blame to go around. Looking back does no one any good. Time to look

forward and find answers. Dan Marino is NOT coming back to run this offense and Zach Thomas is not coming back to run the defense. I can look back on those days fondly but it does us no good to live on a bunch of what ifs.

a man can dream though....

i dream of an offense that floors the gas pedal and leaves defenses in the dust. I dream of winning a game by more than 14 points. I dream of dan and zach kicking around tony sparanos head while chad henne claps to himself in his way too small helmet. its good to dream
