Our offense is like a group of Neanderthals that just discovered the wheel, and are yet to implement it into any innovative inventions.
That is my analogy to our play calling and formations; I’ve noticed we’re getting as predictable as when Henning was here. We come out in trip sets to pass, but then we come out it a 2wr run heavy formation to pass, we aren’t running out of formations that will catch the defense off guard. Also bush isn’t being used, the way he should be. For example on set I feel we would have success is the full house formation.

These are just two variants of the full house I believe we can run, hell if we can find effective ways to make this work we can throw in Gates as the second receiver and force defenses to be honest, and still be a viable threat on the ground and through the air, there are many ways to attack the defense from here, such as send bush into motion into the slot getting a linebacker on him to create a mismatch pulling one defender out of the box and having space to run.
Since we already run out of spread sets why not a spread set have where the receiver in the slot is either Fasano or Charles clay and one of the outside receivers can either be Bess/Hartline. We need to mix and match play calling and keep the defense on their heels, be the hunter not the hunted! You don’t load a gun to put it away in the middle of a gun fight use it!
