Everyone keeps saying don't fire him and let the season finish out because of no success in mid firings and hirings.. OK if we are going to go 4-12 (if that) why keep this losing conservative mentallity? That would make it harder on a new coach to evaluate the talent on this team. Then at the same time, hiring a new coach now vs end of season, he gets a chance to see what the team and people can actually do in real games not just ok lets see what they can do in training camp and preseason which means little. That way in the off season he can get his draft line up straight and draft what HE feels we need on this team and if Henne or anyone else needs to be replaced or is capable of being here. Hire him now, give him a gimme game vs SD that we probably are going to lose anyways right now, and let him put in a new O in the bye week and start from the following week on with having 2-3 weeks of a new offense installed. I myself would love to have Fisher here, he has shown he can win with minimum talent and is defensive minded and willing to take chances. Follow that up with Mike Martz who can utilize Bush in passing situations, Rob Ryan actually (think of the brother rivalry and defensive play calling here) and Bill Cowher, Gruden would be ok here just not sold on him. Heck bring in Mike Ditka...
