I LOVE the players we have. I want to give Henne as many chances as possible. I love how Thomas looks. Why is it that after going 1-9 at home the last 10 games, being thrilled with FGs, along with what seems to be a play not to lose mentality, we’re crazy for wanting a change?

I was so annoyed reading how we lost to “two good teams” all week. I want us to WIN. That’s my point. I think this team is good enough to BEAT the Patriots and Texans. With all due respect, the whole “we lost to two good teams” excuse sounds much like a reach for forced optimism. I’m not looking for a consolation prize after a loss. This is the NFL, not college. Close doesn’t count here, especially in the AFC East. If the Bills are for real (which they are) then those are 6 HUGE games on our schedule. This is why those first 2 losses hurt. We know those teams are good, but if we want to make the playoffs those are must win games for tiebreaker scenarios and such. Those losses to AFC playoff teams is what kills us longterm come December. I guess because Cleveland isn’t another “good team” we need to blame the fans this time? Come on…

I’m sorry but I totally don’t understand why those who want a new coach are not real fans. It is just our opinion we will be better off with a new coach. I would NOT be calling for a new coach’s head once he got here after one bad season. Tony didn’t just start here yesterday.

As far as people looking for someone to blame, when the team has talent (which I know we do) you’re damn right I’m going to blame the coach if I feel that way. I have noticed DT, and I definitely have noticed Henne. If anything, I feel bad for him cuz I don’t think he’s been given the proper control he should have been given to run the offense.

So yes it is much easier to point out the negatives when we’re 0-3. The positives are there, so we want to point out the negatives which need to be addressed. Once those are changed THAT is what will improve this team.

All he keeps saying is Eli and Coughlin suck and need to go. Wow a Super Bowl MVP and SB winning coach.

They beat the 18-0 Patriots to win the championship, and he complains. Wow, I wish I had those problems.

after all I say were optimistic posts and articles on the front page; but, now that there are a couple front page authors proclaiming a lack of faith in the leadership, I am much happier about the overall content. This blog should be balanced like a good offense, the differing opinions on the front page mix it up and make for better debates in the comments sections. Everybody needs to feel like their opinion is valid on this site, and quite frankly, “negative” opinions frequently incur optimistic ire (oxymoron?).

Are you guys in the running for the lifetime network dolphin fan award? Jesus…get over it! It’s a friggin football fan site, not a knitting club. Too much estrogen!
