The Phinsider Geographical Survey 2011 Regular Season Edition

I made one of these last season and it seemed to be fairly popular. I had a few request afterwards to post another and I finally got around to doing so this past off season during the lock out. Well that did not go over anywhere near as well as the first time as it was dead around here due to the lock out. I should have known better. Now with the regular season back in full swing we can hopefully get more responses to get a better picture of who is out there and where. This is just sort of an informal survey for fun to see where our fans of the greatest team in the world (yes that's right, record and other issues be damned) currently reside.

As I expected last time it was a south Florida/Florida heavy poll but I also know that like myself many of us have long since spread out across the country and even the globe. Others became fans for a varied list of other reasons (besides being a S. Florida native) ranging from our parents were fans to becoming a fan of the game when the Phins ruled the league in the early 70's or when Marino dominated in the passing game during much of the 80's and 90's. I have even read where a few of you just really liked Dolphins as a kid. Seems like a great reason to me!

Please feel free to comment as to the specifics as far as the city or country of a region that you live in and even where you are from originally and how/why you became a fan of the Phins to begin with. At the very least it will be interesting to see where everyone lives but then again you might just find someone local that you can cheer on your favorite team with.

*Disclaimer-If i did not list your country individually this was not done to offend but merely for the sake of time and space. I did separate out a few based on previous comments and will take any new comment's under advisement for future postings. Thank you and have a nice day!
