So I am not talking about most of you guys, but in general, a lot of the people that are "fans" of the dolphins are pathetic. Being from California, I would cherish any opportunity to be there and support our whole team. I still remember the exact moment when we scored the magnificent TD in OT during the 1-15 season. I was cheering for joy and gloating to all the haters.
What I absolutely hate is hearing about and reading comments (again mainly on other sites) about people complaining about the phins. The "We want Orton" chants absolutely got me ticked off. First off, if you are truly a fan you really should not complain about management until they completely blow the load (aka they go 1-15 or you have someone named Dan Henning running your offense). Personally I believe that Chad Henne is good enough to get the job done, and obviously our FO agrees with that. Since our FO decided the support Henne, I think we should put our faith in him as well, at least until he proves that he can not succeed. I find it so disrespectful to the team that fans came out to the practice to demoralize our only hope at making the playoffs (for this season). Is it really necessary?
Again since I am from California I only know a few people that are phins fan, so I get a perspective of what the fans are like through comments and such (I have only been to the raiders game this past season in the past 4ish years). I see "fans" bashing their own team and saying our FO is horrible for not getting Orton. In fact if our FO did get Orton I would have been pissed because the broncos were not going to trade him unless they got a high draft pick.
Well thanks for reading my rant. Love you guys for your daily entertainment.
