August 4, the first day of the newly ratified CBA. The first day all of our newly signed free agents could suit up and practice. people are piling up in the stands to see what they've got. Everything was going good then all of a sudden we start to get the feeling like coach Tony Sparano was trying to punish the fans by allowing the entire practice to go down on the opposite side of the training facility, for the shenanigans that took place on Monday night by our ignorant bandwagon fans . No one could see what was going on , even during 11 v 11 drills. We were forced to watch Brandon Fields punt all practice. As a joke fans were loudly cheering every punt Fields attempted. All 2000 fans that showed up were chanting "come to this side". When i was leaving the fan that started the chant was down buy the gates talking to a dolphin official and a Davie police officer, i herd the official say if you come tomorrow at 3 pm i can promise practice will be on this side, the fan kept saying "do you know how far i drove to be here tonight". Alot of fans left early, people were very upset.
From what i could tell a few good things happened last night. NFL network was there, since evryone is making a big deal about the already infamous chants " we want Orton ". So @DolFanBandits orchestrated us select few loyal fans to chant " lets go Henne" as Chad was walking on the practice field. Like it or not Henne will be our starting QB at the start of the year, so show the man a little respect and don't boo him the first week of training camp. There might be a silver lining in all this, maybe this is exactly what Henne needed to get his act in line. I did see a nice 50 yrd pass from Chad to Clyde Gates for a TD that got the crowd going. Both Reggie Bush and Daniel Thomas had two nice runs. And even though i left early from frustration of not being able to see much ,i read from a Miami beat writer that Henne had a superb night compared to the practice at Sun Life Stadium where he was booed. I know i am probably the ignorant one for thinking Henne might still be the guy to get the job done. But who knows anything can happen.................right?!?!
