Game 3 of the pre season is the best indicator for things to come in the regular season. While Phinsider's has been focused on Chad Henne, we neglected our most important responsibility and that is protecting our QB and helping our ground game. I am a big fan of Coach Sparano, but the fact that our offensive line is still not fixed is on his shoulders. We finally have the necessary playmakers to make our offense exciting and our offensive line makes bone head play after play. If I am an opposing coach facing the Dolphins, then I will put pressure on the offensive line and have the Dolphins playing in many long yardage situations all game long.
Our defense looks good and will continue to improve. Unfortunately, Chad Henne will not be able to reach his potential this year because our offensive line plays terrible. In addition, we do not have a pulling guard at LG who can help spring Reggie Bush. Such a shame. In addition, we do not have a quality backup to Anthony Fasano. Getting Jake Long back will help, but will not solve our problems.
