Just Terrible

we must take into accpunt that lots of people are morons

Seriously, how is that helping this team in any way

With the 15th pick, the Miami Dolphins select John Stamos....'s brother

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

They’re probably broncos fans pretending to be dolphin fans. Or Tebow fans. Orton is taking all the first team snaps from the great Tebow and they want to stir shit up in hopes for a trade.

conspiracy theory much

Or Chad Henne just sucks

"Well at least we picked a good year to suck" said Pat Bowlen after countersigning Von Miller's rookie contract.

No, it's an accurate reflection of the way people feel about this organization...

…for better or for worse, the average fan is really fed up with this team — and it’s all aimed at one player: Chad Henne.

Doesn’t help the team, but there ya go.

The average miami fan just wants a new quarterback to turn on. It is what miami fans do best

Im not fed up with this team.

I love what we’ve done this offseason. I’ll support Henne. He is our QB. I could care less about Orton because he is not apart of this team. If he does get traded to us then I’ll support him him as well. But he isn’t a Dolphin so he can kick rocks.

by PhinsAllDay on Aug 1, 2011 11:00 PM EDT via mobile up reply actions

If it is this bad at training camp practices for Henne, imagine what it will be like on game day.

I warned after last year that Henne might be toxic to the fan base. That might force the hand of the FO and Coaching Staff. They can’t play Henne if the fans boo him at everything he does. I saw it happen first hand to Rex Grossman in Chicago. It started with Henne last year.

I have a feeling that it is only going to get worse for the guy.

That's bad enough but

what happens when they start doing it during the regular season???

Honestly, I know Henne has thick skin (thank God he does!), but even the thickest skinned people bow to BS pressure eventually. If he can get through this crap a better QB, then he might turn out to be quite good.

Like I keep harping, freedom of speech needs to be responsible.

But it’s not just fair weather fans…blame the media as well. Of course, there are many Jets/Pats/Bills fans in S. Fla.

they only show up when were winning, hence the term, lol

wow this is a mess

I’ve been thinking how to reply to this post. fans do have a right to boo and chant, but you have to feel for Henne a little. I’m sure he is trying and the FO didn’t help him out at all with the Orton deal. having that just hang out there the way it is gets peoples emotions going. Sure Henne does need to play a lot better and we should voice our opinion. I just really don’t know what to say here. I think making this move to Orton somehow someway just needs to happen soon or the FO needs to come out and totally back Henne for one more run.

Their were no fans besides Dolfans tonight

the people their were grimy, disgusting, and overall retarded in the way they acted. All they went for was for free pre-season tix to Carolina game. I tried to make videos but someone always had to move, or get up, or kick me. Thank god it was only for one practice.

It's one thing to hope for it and talk about it online and in bars and stuff

but it’s really classless to go to practice and yell it at Chad Henne.

Dan Marino (13) and Steve Nash (13) will go down in history as being the greatest passers to never win the last game of the season.

Those people had no class at all

They went because it was free and they got free tix. During regular season games the crowds aren’t like that

Agreed
it’s really classless to go to practice and yell it at Chad Henne.

and it puts us in the National spotlight (in a negative way….. again) and makes Jets fans look better than us. I can’t wait for the day when we can get some positive National press but crap like this doesn’t help.

Henne needs to use this as motivation.

It’s the only way he’s going to survive. Otherwise, he’s going to end up a backup. I personally think that he can become a franchise quarterback. And I know that there are plenty of people on this site who believe it too.

Hopefully, Henne is now past the point in his career where fans can affect his play…

That's disgusting

If henne comes out of this a better qb, he could become a great

Part of me thinks that this was wrong

and that I would never have done it.

Another part of me thinks: “if you dont wanna get booed, dont play like shit”, its as simple as that.

On another note,
Free stuff or not im kind of proud that 10k fans showed up.

The only way to not play like shit when it counts

Is to work on your mistakes…there is nothing wrong with making a mistake in practice because that’s how you figure out how to fix them. That’s why they have position coaches and video and meetings.

It wasn’t just wrong, it was ignorant.

But the thing is,Hennes not the only one that played like shit last year

Personally,i just think its sick that fans have grown to act liie spoiled rotten assed children.

Henne’s not the guy you want? So what, stfu and sit down, root for the fins as a unit, dont boo the entire team for the sake of one guy.

Yes,when you single out a player on the team, and boo him,in essence you boo the entire team, because he is part of the team.

Raiders have suffered through many years of mediocrity,San Fran as well, the jets think they are gods, and whens the last time they actually WON a super bowl?

Bottom linecin this case id have to say that jets fans at least support the team, sanchez sucked, you dont hear then calling for kolb…

Anyways drug induced rant over, get classy miami.

If I were Sparano I'd close paractice to the public for a week as punishment.

It’s one ting to sit in a seat you paid $1,000 for and be critical of the team in front of youi…essentially you’ve bought the right to do that along with the ability to support your team in person.

But last night was a %$@# practice! The whole point of a practice is the team all goes out and works to get better. The cliche is “practice MAKES perfect”..not practice should be perfect. We can talk about how pro athletes need to deal with pressure and Henne should get used to being booed all we want but what those fans did is totally counter productive.

If U2 was holding a rehearsal for a concert and they let some fans come free would they boo every screw up?

Holding a scrimmage at Sunlife for free is essentally a fan-appreciastion gesture. Apparently some fans were’t very appreciative.

I said this in another thread,

this is directed more to the FO, the fans are frustrated because the FO didn’t bring in any serious competition for Henne, and Henne is feeling the brunt of it.

It’s not fair but thats life in the big city.

To spite their front office.

Then where are the reports?

Even in New York, where Sanchez is the one thing holding them back from hoisting the Lombardi trophy, you dont hear fans chanting for him to be replaced.

by dolphinfan4lyfe on Aug 2, 2011 9:24 AM EDT via mobile up reply actions

He wasnt aweful at it 2 seasons ago,

All 5 of his 4th quarter comebacks were done that year.

But thats besides the point. Fans are setting him up to fail by acting like that at practice. How can a team have faith in a QB the fans have lost faith in?

Truth is,the only way he is going to get the confidence to be even a decent QB is to be given the chance.

I liken this kinda bs to someone that plants a seed, then refuses to water it,simply waiting for the rain to come in and do the job. What happens during a drought? The plant whithers and dies. The same thing is going to happen to Hennes confidence if fans keep acting like they did that practice.

That is NOT what being a fans about. Besides, yes,it is okay to be unhappy with a player or teams play, but it is not okay the way they went about it this time. I dont care how you try to spin it,its still dead ass wrong

by dolphinfan4lyfe on Aug 2, 2011 10:55 AM EDT via mobile up reply actions

I agree. I have no faith in Henne either.

But I wouldn’t presume to tell anyone what they can or can’t do as a fan. Booing a player is their perogative. I can’t say whether I would or wouldn’t during a practice. But I have booed players on my team during a game.

This story just got announced on Chicago radio.

The update guy on The Score here in Chicago just laughed at the terrible play of Miami QB’s that would prompt fans at a practice to chant “We Want Orton”.
