Dolphins QB situation ridiculed
From the article (link here - Football Nation Article)
excerpt
"Remember what we said about the failure rate of second-round quarterbacks? Well, the Dolphins have used four second-round picks on quarterbacks since 2006. They drafted Chad Henne, Pat White and John Beck, and they traded a second round pick for Daunte Culpepper.
Only Henne is still with the team. And, despite mediocre production in almost two full years of starting, the Dolphins are entering the 2011 with no competition for Henne.
There are rumors that the Dolphins are interested in Palmer – who would represent a significant upgrade for the short term. But, given Miami's history since Dan Marino’s retirement(15 different players have started at quarterback since Marino left the teamin 1999), even a move for Palmer would reek of an attempt to put “lipstick on a pig.” They refuse to address what has become an obvious issue."

Just tired of talking about Henne. No one is getting Palmer. Mike Brown is not giving in to Palmer’s demands. Is this more of a Post or a shot?

Ehh I cant believe I read this biased bs
Truth is,Henne did better than sanchez, dont hear them callin for his head.
Santonio or Braylon is gone, their d may gain a cb,but its gonna lose a oass rusher. Lord knows how their Oline is going to stay intact, all henne has to do is throw less interceptions this year and about 4-5 more tds.

Henne better than Sanchez? Not on your life
Sanchez took his team to the playoffs last year, henne watched them on TV. Sanchez had a 17/13 TD ratio. Clearly better than henne’s 15/19 numbers. Sanchez looked shaky early, but later in the year started to look like a complete QB. If he picks up where he left off last year, and we don’t pick up VY, or a very good replacement for henne, it is going to be a VERY LONG SEASON.
took his team? LMAO
He didn’t take his team anywhere and is the weakest link on O.

The worst thing I have heard about henne
Is he looked very much like the college version of henne, inconsistent.
Don't mean to sound like a Jets fan
But their team was a lot better than our team last year, and I’m not sure I see enough progress this year to change that. Don’t think henne can get it done, and don’t see us getting someone who could do a better job.
I agree with you Jimbo
Not a big Sanchez fan by any stretch, but I’d take him over Henne in a heartbeat. I really hope this is the last year for this Front Office.
Henne is the greatest and the Dolphins will go 14-2 this year and win the SB
look what this front office built, this team is stacked with talent...do you remember what it looked like 3 years ago?
how can you even compare….i pray this regime stays here, just gets a qb to shut everyone up…
That's true, but
their QB sucks.

What about AJ Feeley??
Wasn’t that another great 2nd round deal??? Just because it wasn’t a pick, this team traded a second round pick for AJ Feeley.
I would be OK with Kyle Orton.
But PLEASE not Kevin, my stats are worse than CH7, Kolb
