Report: Dolphins not interested in Plaxico Burress
Despite the fact that it's likely Burress and his agent would have been interested in the Miami Dolphins, we now have a report that claims the Dolphins are no interest in the soon-to-be 34 year old receiver. The report cites a "reliable source" who said the Dolphins are "absolutely not" interested in Plaxico.

I honestly see him signing with the Jets… Although he could pull a comeback, the odds are definitely against him. It would have been a luxury anyway… we really shouldn’t worry about it.

I guess we don't need a receiver who can score TDs.
none of our receivers could get open in the end zone. Thats why Davone Bess led our receivers with 5 TDs (most of which came on his YAC efforts).
I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t get him, but all I’m asking is for us to do our diligence. Give him a workout. Wait for a market to develop to see if we can get him cheap. I understand he is old. But our oldest receiver is 28. It wouldn’t hurt to have a superbowl winning receiver around for a veteran presence.

BMarsh himself says he’s garbage at running the fade… which is the primary route big receivers run to get open in the endzone… like Plax.
Slot receivers aren’t big enough to be a threat in the endzone.

They got open. Henne’s timing is off with his WR’s and he didn’t have the pin point accuracy required I’m short spaces. I didn’t know that was a problem for BM. We got a crappy #1 WR if true. How the Hell can he be a #1 if he’s not a home run threat and someone who can’t dominate in the endzone? If thats the case he’s the best number two out there. I would like to see the link to Marshall saying that.

yeah I think this was a bit of a quick jump on Henne
I specifically remember saying several times during the games that we had like no receivers running routes and none of them were ever open.
