It's always good to come back home. Family, my dog, and old friends. If my plans go as expected I'll get to hang for a few games at Pat & Dandy's with a solid group of like minded Dol-Fans from the Toledo area. Then, of course, there is a Dolphins game in Cleveland just a mere 2 hours due East from here. Perfect !!! I haven't given my ticket options for that game much thought. I just figured I would sit in the nose bleed seats with the group as I believe the Toledo FanClub is again joining forces with The Phinvaders.
Well, this is where the Dolphin karma kicks in. I do what I normally do when I arrive back home, get plugged back into the local hockey scene. So tonight I roll up to the rink and pick up where I left off 5 years ago. Then walks in the locker Marty, a huge Browns fan and a former teammate from the local tournament team. Well, as it turns out he has had season tickets in Cleveland for years now. The long and short of it is,...20 yard line, 3 rows from the field, for face value.
So, do I sit with my crew or opt for some prime seating. I'm thinking the latter, but Cleveland fans can be brutal. It's nothing I haven't heard before, I just hate that my Wifey would have to be subjected to it. Maybe buy the good seats, take a buddy down there and keep Wifey safe with the group. But that seems like shit move to pull on her. Thoughts or suggestion........
