With any luck the LOCKOUT will end soon.
My question: will our Front office be ready to jump into FREE AGENCY ?
This year is going to be a FREE FOR ALL ! The best management teams are going to be READY to sign undrafted free agents and also jump on the NFL free agents – like RB DeAngelo Williams very quickly. Below is a list of undrafted players’ the DOLPHINS should look at bringing in – in my opinion.
YOU RISK ALMOST NOTHING WITH THESE UNDRAFTED PLAYERS…

QB Pat Devlin
RB’s Derrick Locke, Noel Devine, Mario Fannin
WR’s Terrance Tolliver, Ricardo Lockette, DeAndre Brown
TE Weslye Saunders
OT Ray Dominquez
G’s Zach Hurd, Justin Boren, Carl Johnson
C’s Tim Barnes, Alex Linnenkohl, Ryan Bartholomew
Inside LB’s Scott Lutrus, Nick Bellore
OLB Mark Herzlich
Safety Deunta Williams
I think the best players on this list would be, Locke, Devine, C Tim Barnes (might be a better pure center than Pouncy) OLB Herzlich (if he recovers 100% he can be a great player) & TE Saunders.
QB Pat Devlin would give us another QB to develop, and you just cut him later if we trade for a veteran or he isn’t any good in camp.
In short, I’m going to judge the Front office by how quickly we get a few players signed, and who we bring in. THERE IS NO EXCUSE for not being ready to deal, the minute Free Agency opens….when you are talking about these undrafted players. I understand that we can’t "overpay" for NFL veterans, and we must be careful there, but we still need another RB with speed, more OLINE help, and another QB for competition…this should be clear to the team….WHAT WILL THEY DO ?
