One of the puzzling question that has concerned Miami fans during the lock out is Miami's backup quarterback situation. Will they get a veteran presence to backup Henne or pick up a undrafted free agent or better yet a guy that might surprise fans out of the blue. According to information divulged by a few offense skill players and even from the quarterbacks mouth is the offense will incorporate things used by " The Patriots", and 4 wide receiver sets will be used a bit more often. There is a great chance that we will be running a variant of the spread offense, along with a traditional offense in the mix. In my opinion if spread concepts are implemented wouldn't it make sense to get a quarterback that excelled in that particular offense? Here is a list of quarterbacks IMO that I believe may excel in our new offense.
2 Harrell Graham
3 Taylor Potts
I also forgot to mention that we have quarterback that ran the spread offense in college, our very own Tyler Thigpen. Not Many are sold of Thigpen, but one of our very own players is quite fond of him who by chance happens to be Brandon Marshall. It's believed that Marshall and Henne will salvage their relationship during the off-season, and that he'll be the quarterback we've longed for since Dan Marino. It's to everyone's belief that Henne's nickname the robot comes from him not wanting to take chances and staying from commands given to him, if he continues to play like a robot I'm guessing Marshall is going to act up and we'll be hearing alot from him! By the way I advise you guys to look up to see who's in the running for the 3rd string quartback job.........
