I was watching NFL Total Access on the NFL network last night. They let Willie McGinest Pick his top 5 front 7's in the league.He had some decent picks:

3)Baltimore

4)Dallas

5)Minnisoeta

My problem with his picks was what he based them on. He used 3 categories to rank his teams. 

1)Scoring

2)Rushing yards

3)Sacks

First lets start with scoring. Of the 5 teams he has ranked only 2 were better than the Phins.

14)Miami

17)N.Y.G.

18)Minn

31)Dal

How about rushing? Only 2 again. The same 2.

Last but not least sacks. Once again only 2 out the 5 were better.

He even gave Detroit a ranking of 5(*) with an asterisk .Detroit points 19th,rush yards 24th and sacks 6th.

Based on McGinest our front 7 should be ranked no less then 3rd among this group. Behind only Pitt and Balt. We should only get better. This will be our second year under Nolan and they should improve. We might not resign T.Mac,but getting  Odrick and Merling back should add more depth. The only weak link is depth at NT. Since were so deep at DE. maybe we can use Starks to back up Soliai.
