The video was the most interesting to me...

The read makes me queasy in the stomach. Especially the things said about Newton…. he brings a migraine with it….

Mallet too!

I am not sold on ANY of the 4. Too me Ponder is the only quality QB in this draft (at least near the top)

Forget about these 4, pick Taylor in the later rounds or stick with Henne

I still role dice with Locker. I've liked him for 2 years now.

But I admit that I very well could be wrong about Locker.

The Drunkenmiller / George comparisons with Mallet I think hit the nail on the head.

The Newton stuff has me puzzled a little. All the kid has done is won at every level. Sure he is cocky and arrogant, but I want that in my QB.

Gabbert I wouldn’t have on my draft board. He is a taller Chad Pennington meaning he is unable to push the ball downfield.

I agree with you about Locker.

With the right coaching I think he can become a great Qb. And Daboll did a good job with McCoy last year so we might have a chance once a CBA gets done to teach him properly.

I disagree with you about Gabbert, though. Gabbert arm is miles ahead of Pennington’s. He can make all the throws and has great athleticism. His only concern is his decision making and the offense he played in. A better comparison to Pennington is Mcelroy, who has the potential to be a smart, accurate game manager

On the "Draft Titus Young" Bandwagon
Why do people like Ryan Williams more than Leshoure. Leshoure bigger and not as injury prone.

how can you trust these reporters???
They can make up these sources to benefit themselves. And they know nobody will check because all the AFC gms arent gonna gather in one room and be like did you say that to a reporter?

and so what Mallet is slow?

Phillip Rivers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning are just as slow and they are the 3 best QBs in the NFL.
If he can make every throw, has played in and had success in a pro style offense… then why not draft him?
The Dolphins have a great lockerroom. We’ve got just about a roster full of team captains. Mallet will be fine in this environment.

I have no problem believing he has some issues. Thats obvious. I just don’t see them affecting his on the field play or ability to lead.

For example, Mallet ran a 5.37 40-yard dash at his pro-day workout in Arkansas. Afterward, he expressed no concern about it, telling reporters that day, "I’m not Michael Vick(notes), everybody knows that."
"Pretty typical of his attitude," the AFC personnel man said. "He doesn’t understand that sometimes you have to run in this game. Unless you’re Dan Marino, you have to at least be able to get a couple of yards here and there."
That likely means that many executives and coaches will not want to put Mallett on their teams.
"I would never take him. Never. He’s irresponsible, selfish and not a leader," the AFC GM said. "I don’t care how great he throws it – and he throws it great – but there’s no way."

That whole part of the article is complete BS. What did they want him to do? Say yea I’m slow as hell, i’m gonna go work on trying to get more God given fast twitch muscles? Because he said that makes him oblivious to the fact that QBs might have to scramble once in a while?? Thats BS. Whoever this “personnel man” and GM is, he’s a complete fool (if he’s real). Hopefully it wasn’t jeff ireland.
