He’s how I see this draft shaping up for the Pats.
They drop down from the 17th pick.
They trade the 28th pick (but only Al Davis would be dumb enough to take THAT trade).
They trade the 33rd pick (1st pick on the 2nd day) probably for someone’s 1st rounder next year (a lot of desperate teams dumb enough to do that, unfortunately).
I’d like to see them take a bunch of high rounders, but I doubt it will happen.
- There still isn’t a rookie cap in place, and with the litigation, there may not be one. Ever.
- Any rookie this year likely won’t see much training time, so they probably won’t contribute much their rookie year. You want to see first rounders get some field time.

You should see the individual who had Miami select Portland State TE Julius Thomas with the 15th overall pick. That was what was posted on Gang Green Nation…
For those that don’t know much about Julius Thomas, he is projected to be a 7th round pick or a UDFA.

it’s not like people around here have never said The Jets will probably draft a kicker in round 1. They don’t truly believe we are making that pick, they are poking fun at us and you are giving them exactly what they want by getting riled up!
