Lions at Saints Sunday Night Football Live Thread

The Detroit Lions head south to face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football this week. The Lions are trying to save their playoffs chances, while the Saints are looking to extend their lead over the Atlanta Falcons after Houston beat the Falcons earlier today.

The Saints are a different team when they play in New Orleans, with a 5-0 record compared to their 3-3 road record. Meanwhile, Detroit is 3-3 at home, but 4-1 on the road.

This should be a very entertaining game. And, no matter how this game goes, the Dolphins decimated the Oakland Raiders earlier today, so it's a good day.

Enjoy!

D.J. Smith, former AppState Mountaineer played a great game for the Packers.

6 tackles, 2 assisted tackles and a couple of pressures.

I wouldn't be too upset if the packers went undefeated

They aren’t as intolerable as the 2007 Patriots.

I wouldn't mind sharing the title with the pack, but we will always be 1st.

I just feel officiating played too much a part in it.

the Ballard play should have been a TD with his knee in before sliding oob. That Jennings grab, he never had clear possession. I’d rather see them make the playoffs rather than Dallas

I see what you're saying but the system does suck though

and I agree with you and Neo in the Fanshot thread with the Ireland quote, but I’m sick of getting involved in that debate with everyone. You’re EVIL if you want a new coach and/or 1st round QB, or care for the future of this team, apparently.

I agree

IMO we need one enough we should trade picks with the Vikings or Rams if we can. Just to make sure we get him. I’m 100% fine with Moore starting next year, but I’m so afraid we’ll pass on/miss out on a QB for the furture. I won’t be nearly as optimistic for next season if we don’t make ewither change, especially the QB

If I have to choose then I take the QB.

This is another reason we need to draft a new QB...

Every Saints game I’ve seen including tonight and last Monday night, Miami passing on Brees is always brought up. So damn depressing. Go sign RG III now please!
