A Pats Fan's Take On What The Dolphins Should Be Thankful For

I hope the holiday season has been and will continue to be better for Dolphins fans than the regular season has been. As a Pats fan I should be surprised at how close this game was. I should be shocked at how bad the first-half looked for us. But as Greg Bedard at the Boston Globe predicted, it came down to a field goal. In the last three-dozen games in December, the Patriots have only lost three of those games. All three losses were dealt by the Miami Dolphins. And they should have been because for some reason the Dolphins always play their hearts out against the Pats no matter how cold it is.

The Miami Dolphins have a good RB corps, some studs on their offensive-line, some serious weapons, and an underdog QB who may have upside worth exploring. On defense, they have a fearsome pass-rush, a respectable D-Line, and are pretty good upfield. Give the HC an off-season and a chance to make some great draft picks. Who knows where the team might be carried. That doesn't necessarily mean a QB as it might be worth giving Matt Moore an off-season for training camp and there should be some amazing talent at other positions to snatch up in the top-10 and 40's.

Best of luck guys and talk to you all next season. Have a happy and healthy New Year's. And please, don't pick a Safety in the draft. We really need them.
