Matt Barkley Decides To Remain At USC

USC junior quarterback, Matt Barkley, decides to remain at USC for his senior year. The young man decided that is was worth holding off the 2012 NFL draft to return to college and pursue the possiblity of PAC-12 championship, the Rose Bowl, maybe even a national championship. Barkley will be a preseason pick for the 2012 Heismann trophy. I'm happy for the young man, you don't get too many chances to play college football and enjoy college life, so enjoy it while you can. The Dolphins were really high on Barkley. He and Andrew Luck play a pro style offense. Miami should move on to their next position of need, which would be right tackle. Reilly Reiff of Iowa and Jonathan Martin of Stanford will become the topic of conversation for first round drafts. I didn't forget about Robert Griffin of Baylor. I live in Texas, he's a good guy, talented player, but I doubt he'll make it to the Dolphins selection in the draft. The Dolphins will not trade up to get him.
