The Miami Dolphins are once again beating up on the Buffalo Bills, leading 20-7 late in the third quarter. The Dolphins defense has picked off Ryan Fitzpatrick three times today, with Vontae Davis tallying two of those.
Meanwhile on offense, Reggie Bush is closing in on another 100-yard rushing day, while Brandon Marshall's 84-yards thus far has given him his fifth straight 1,000 yard season - with the last two being in Miami. Marshall is the first Dolphins receiver to reach the 1,000 yard marh in consecutive seasons since Irving Fryar in 1993 and 1994.

To be fair
There’s no reason to not be conservative at this point because Buffalo hasnt shown anything all game. Also, Moore has thrown deep all game so the team is actually being aggressive irrespective of that last drive

And Fitzpatrick led comebacks in back to back weeks early in the season. It doesn’t make sense to play conservative.

I think we need a new face in here next year. I feel this team needs a more aggressive approach to things

Ricky Williams ran for 220+ during tthose crazy white-out conditions in Buffalo a few years back. I believe he came into the 4Q with over 210 yards but didnt get many in the 4th because the Dolphins were down

They won't trade up because they need too much other stuff
they need a better RT (Hunter is about as bad as Colombo), they need better pass rushers and a better D-line. They will also need better WRs. They can’t afford to trade up.

I think they screwed up getting rid of Edwards and Cotchery
Jericho was one of those guys I hated playing against, similar to playing against Welker. I’m not meaning to compare the two, but he was that kind of annoying.
Cotchery was an underrated slot WR
and Edwards was a good deep threat. Burress isn’t that good anymore and I don’t even know who their slot WR is. They have regressed offensively.

but their WR core when from Holmes, Edwards, and Cotchery (good) to Holmes, Burress, and Kerley (bad). Their O-line has gotten worse due to Hunter and whoever their LG is. They need lots of work on offense.

Wayne Hunter isnt a very bad Tackle at all
he is however a very streaky player. Has struggled with consistancy this season, especially in foot and body positioning, but he has great talent. When we played them on Monday Night he did an amazing job against Cam Wake. He however is as I said a streaky player and he also is better i npass protection (like D’Brickashaw Ferguson) than he is in the running game.

He is rated 43rd out of 59 OTs this season. He has given up more sacks than Colombo and only one less pressure. He will need to be upgraded.

They definately have had lots of changeup on their roster in the last two seasons.
which has affected their team and changed what they do, however the losses on defense in my opinion hurt them more. They were betwwen a rock and a hard place this offseason though needing to resign Cromartie and David Harris which forced them to let depth walk all over the field on defense. They traded Dwight Lowrey to the Jags, let Coleman walk (who signed with the Jags) and let go of D-line depth including Shaun Ellis and Trevor Pryce. Others as well that are slipping my mind.

as for Hunetr though I have only watched 3 or so Jets games thsi season in their entirety
so…. as for Colombo though I am very confident I understand him as a player and I know what his strengths and weaknesses are very well.
Its always easier to assess when you have a massive body of work.

I just hope we still get RG III. It seems like Ross and Ireland plan to get somebody though which is good. We can’t mortgage our future on Moore with such a great QB class coming out.

I don't like the Pats either
but they have earned the respect given to them. The jets are classless, loud mouthed, and obnoxious. Most of their fans are terrible. The jets need to be beaten back down under the rock from whence they came. All AFC East teams need to be beneath the Dolphins where they belong. We are beating the Bills back down. The Pats’ comeuppance will come. Right now, the jets need to understand that they belong in the cellar too. Any success they have is too much.

I agree that the Jets have more swagger than the Pats do now
but it hasnt always been that way. I have never despised a team more than I did the 2007 Patriots, ever. However they are a completely different club now.

The difference is that the Pats have earned the right to act the way they do
They have won SBs and have been a good team. The jets back-doored their way into the playoffs, beat a couple of questionable or injured teams, and suddenly they act like they are the team to beat. Well they are the team to beat… beat into a pulp and thrown back into the garbage can where they belong. Every division has to have a cellar dweller and the jets are that team in this division. The Bills and Pats also belong in the cellar.

I have calmed alot on my hatred of the Pats since they have their struggles
for example it was shocking for me to see the Patriots fanbase viciously turn on their team in 2009 during a 10-6 season. It seems despite fielding winning team after winning team their fanbase has reverted some back to the core. The yalso dont have many of the players that I despised so much anymore.
As for the Jets they have swagger but I just dont hate them.
