I know this has been posted before but yet I have been looking back on some of the games that Tebow has played.

Loss of respect for Elway, is this another example of former people in a sport that has been great but yet they cannot properly evaluate talent??

Tebow can play, like any other starter in the league he will have some problems at first but put good talent around him and a good system and he would do well with all his intangibles.

Last week he had 280 yards passing and would have been over 300 if DT didnt drop that pass that was thrown perfectly and went through his hands. You make this man the starter, you take away his #1 target and trade them to St Lou and put this man out there to win (fail) and guess what, he wins regardless. I would be willing to bet that if you played that Detroit game again it would be a different story, if he didnt get the win it would be awful close.

BUT because Tebow is not "his" type of QB he doesnt see him as the future plans of Denver, Really Elway? This man has won for you when you dogged him, he has lead your team to the division top currently and playoffs currently but yet you sit up there in your skybox and whenever this man throws a TD your sitting there with a stupid look on your face while everyone else around you is celebrating, what are you thinking to yourself, how can I get rid of this man and he is winning like this, this is not according to plans...

instead of you going down, talking with the man, grooming him on some things about footwork which is all alot of people said he needed and its showing now, he has stopped the jumpy feet and settled down and progressively gotten better but you just sit in your skybox and wonder how many people you will alienate next year when you try to get rid of Tebow with another QB instead of getting a better WR to compliment DT.

Elway I use to think that you were a classy type act but now I see you read the same script as alot of people.. disappointing...
