For You Losers for Luck; Just Go with Panning for Manning

So after a win. An oh so needed, glorious victory, the Luck majority comes out and is sad. Some thinly try to they’re glad and it shows as there’s always a “but” driving home the true negativity. The early to mid-season fantasy that the whole, wide world turns rosy when the walk on water savior becomes ours is now lost to us. The Luck crowd is disappointed we won. It’s dripping all over the posts and staining the happiness that many are trying to share. Yet still more of the knee-jerk fantasists advocate losing for the “seconds” in the QB draft.

What a loser attitude.

It’s this attitude that those will piss and moan yet again when said QB doesn’t deliver. It'll be, “if we just had...” It’s a Madden dream. A fantasy football attitude that all the stars align just perfect so don’t win and all will be well. I’ve heard the rationale couched in multifarious ways and it’s still Jim Jones kool-aid. And the press has jumped on it! Perfect press fodder (if that isn’t enough of a reason to see the stupidity of not wanting to win)!

I truly hope that as this is the first win, the tsunami of negatively toned comments will dry up as the week passes and we score another victory against the ‘skins. If not, I would hope you go start your own blog and not degrade  this one with your sadness that Santa isn’t bringing you a new pair of onesies this Christmas.

You do know there isn’t a Santa?
