this should be a good, high scoring game

The number 4 qb(manning, IMO) against the number 3 qb(Brees). Two great receiving corps held down by nicks and colston. Two dynamic TEs in graham and ballard. Let’s see who wins, should be fun, hoping for G-men.

So we took John Jerry and Not Jimmy Gramm, Then we took A.J.Edds again and not Jimmy

I don't.

I think getting rid of Parcells was the help we needed.

Mike Pouncey
Daniel Thomas
Clyde Gates
Charles Clay
Jimmy Wilson

All of them are contributing this year, with the only pick not on the field regularly being 7th round pick DT Frank Kearse.

That’s some pretty good picking Jeff Ireland did without Parcells’ “influence.”

BTW - Kearse was picked off the Dolphins' practice squad by Carolina

So, he was a good pick too – we just wanted to develop him more, but Carolina saw him available, and have him stashed on their active roster.

we need a TE and we took Jerry who has barely played and the we took Edds that we cut , here is a guy heading to his first of many Pro Bowls

Yep - the first year without Parcells drafting.

So, did we need help when Parcells was drafting? Maybe.

Although, Parcells recognized the talent, he just thought he could wait a little longer to get Graham.

But, now, this year without Parcells, we seem to have done well. So, in answer to your question, no I don’t think we need help, now.

Agree we have had drafted better without BP. he does have some smarts for drafting certian areas. Big strong guys, but playmakers is not B.P.'s area in my book!!

Gates and Clay should be factors, but as of yet not really. spots of playing but nothing to writte home about yet.

yes there both young and will grow, I like Wilson alot
