That game against the Jets, the final drive, everyone watching it with me knew what was coming. I'm sure the Jets did too- but they still couldn't stop it. But that's not why I became a fan.
I became a fan during the post-game interview, where he had to sit there and get asked a dozen times the same question "How do you feel about the team having to reformat their entire offense to suit you? What do you say to people who point to your dismal completion percentages? Blah blah blah". Broncos obviously found an interesting formula that has worked up to this point. Their defense looks great, and so long as they are great the low scoring offense has a chance. Perhaps in "today's pass-happy NFL", they represent a curveball that the opposing teams aren't ready for. I am no football expert, but to hear that same line of questioning for 30 minutes got me a bit pissed off and I give credit to Tebow for dealing with it. Who knows, perhaps he will improve on his passing game over time and become an even bigger threat.
Well, I suppose there is 1 more reason why I am a fan- did you see Rex Ryan after that drive? Priceless.
p.s. Dolphins better win big against Buffalo on Sunday.
