I would like to get Landry Jones as our future QB

I think, IMHO, that this kid is going to be very good. I would love to have him on the Dolphins! Also, on another note, after watching John Skelton in college, and the few games he has played in the pros, I think he will be a very decent QB. People laughed at me when I said Aaron Rodgers was going to be great, and you can look it up on this site (few years ago, before he was even playing). Landry Jones was named after Tom Landry, and I am pretty sold on him, even more so than Luck!

I agree Luck has always been third on my QB board. Product of the system at its fullest and lets be honest Stanford schedule is a joke.

How ever for what ever reason I want matt moore to keep improving and play well enough to maybe just maybe be our starter dunno what it is but I am staring to grow on him.

honestly, Moore has grown on me also!

I hope he can atleast play while our QB of the future learns the NFL speed properly! I also hope we get the line fixed on the right side & maybe with the draft and free agency, we can have the best O-Line in football!!

Product of what system?

You have to remember that Stanford isn’t really a great system by any means

Once luck is gone, they will quickly fade back into their familiar irrelevance

When is the last time you saw an ivy league school in the top 25 consistently?

Miami's Superstars: Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall, Jake Long, Karlos Dansby, Cameron Wake, Vontae Davis and Sean Smith (just wait), Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Mike Stanton, Gaby Sanchez, and Hanley Ramirez. :)

since when was stanford Ivy league?

Stanford plays in the Pac-10, not Ivy league.

Whoops, my bad, I thought they were ivy league

Either way, Stanford never really has been a prestigious football program by any means…

I agree

Landry is my choice also. He can sit for a year behind either Moore or Henne, but, not more. This guy should be really good.

idk I prefer RG3

He’s a little more accurate and way more athletic

I like Landry too

Barkley are mading his case to rise in my board, but still has Landry as my top pick

Skelton looked good in his college All-Star game and he did well at the combine

I’m not really all that surprised

With the 15th pick, the Miami Dolphins select John Stamos....'s brother

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

if we can't get Landry Jones...we should be targetting Matt Flynn...GB knows how to develop qbs obviously

and this guy has a ton of potential if you remember him last year putting up 3 tds on the pats, and i know even last year the pats d wasnt that good, but this guy looked extremely polished for one of his first nfl starts…he battled toe for toe with brady in foxboro…not willing to bet my franchise on him but i’d have no problem if we signed him to a 2-3 year deal IFFFF we couldnt draft a top qb

Look at that team when you consider Matt Flynn

that offense is stacked. Rex Grossman could do what Flynn did with that offense against NE’s terrible defense

no jermichael finley in that game...no ryan grant, brandon jackson was their rb at that time...

and patriots had a lot better defense, if you saw how he played he made all the right throws and the right reads…he has skill

stop with the flynn obsession.

We are going to draft our future QB and his name isn’t Flynn. thank god.

If we arent going to trade up for Luck, then I’d rather have Landry or RG3 depending on where we pick at. I’m not sold on Barkley or USC QB’s. any kid under the tutelage of Lane Kiffin can’t be well off.

I also wish people would stop drinking the Matt Moore koolaid.

ok wise guy, since you want to stop with the flynn obsession, tell me what would your plan be...

when luck goes no. 1 to the colts, barkley goes no. 2 and we win our way out of it, and landry stays in school?…oh sh*t, does that me when draft some kid RG3 who likely will turn out as good as Pryor considering he hasn’t played any competition and will likely end up being a wr?…oh thats right, you know all the answers…flynn is actually more realistic than you think considering he’s been groomed for 4 years under green bay and still only 26…anyone remember how old schaub was when houston got him from atlanta and turned him into their franchise qb? and passed for over 4k just 2 years in?…he was 25…should probably do your homework before you realize what your saying…and maybe turn on the game last night to see that he has a lot of talent and is very polished….reports this training camp actually said flynn looked better in practice than rodgers some days….now im not saying he’s nearly close to rodgers level, but it just shows you how much he could’ve developed over the years

how am I a "wise guy"?

And did you notice your “plan” has so many “if” scenarios in it? First, Landry will be entering the draft this year. perhaps you should watch more games with Griffin on the field, the guy can run almost as well as newton and has a much better pocket presence with a cannon for an arm, that’s very accurate. He couldn’t be further from Pryor in skill. RG3 will be a starter somewhere if given the chance, he’s a stud.

Like I said, Flynn will not be in a phins jersey. we’re going to draft our future starter. I’m not sure how you don’t understand that. whether it’s trading up for Luck, or drafting L.Jones, RG3, or Barkley, depending on where we land.

Doesn't look like Luck

But I’d love to have Jones too! From what I have seen of him he runs the offense well, and is extremely accurate.

its to early to guess where we will pick or even of the FO picks a QB

I did watch Jones play on 2 different occations and i liked him, geez he racked up close to 900 yds in those 2 games alone, seen Barkley once, wasnt that impressed in that game, seems hes gotten better since. only seen luck play against oragon last week even though he lost, i liked what i did see. smart poised and can thow it accuratly. he has no weapons though. we will see what shakes out the rest of the season.

Voted 6 time" MVP"..... Summercamp Pantyraid winner !!!!!!!!!
