Hey Guys,
I wanted to share with you my 4 round 2012 Mock Draft for the Dolphins and get your feedback and suggestions. You can find my full mock here to see write-ups and what other players might have been on the board for Miami's picks:
Round 1: QB Landry Jones, Oklahoma
My Take: Obviously QB is the Dolphins biggest need, and I feel if they have a shot at any of the top guys they will take it. I'm not in love with any of the QB's behind Luck, but Jones I feel could step in fairly quickly and take the reins. The Dolphins do at least have some weapons for him not to mention Long and Pouncey along the line.
Round 2: ILB Luke Kuechly, Boston College-
My Take: I considered DB or OL help, but Kuechly was the top player available and can make up for the Kevin Burnett mistake. Kuechly and Dansby give Miami an impressive ILB pair and should really improve that defense.
Round 3: FS Robert Lester, Oklahoma-
My Take: The Dolphins entire defensive backfield needs an upgrade and Lester would be a great value here at the top of the 3rd round.
Round 4: TE Michael Egnew, Missouri-
My Take: Egnew is surprisingly undervalued in my book and would be a fine addition to the Dolphins. He's not a complete TE as he still needs to work on his blocking more, but he should be a valuable pass catcher and a good value here.
Tell me what you guys think? Do you like my picks, whom else would you have rather seen that was still on the board?
