Not that this is some big revelation, but say what you want (and I'm sure all Fins Fans will chime in here), but the single biggest issue costing us these 4 games has been our defense! I mean if you had to JUST single out one major factor leading to our team's demise, it HAS to be the defense. Our DB's are just playing pitiful. Did any one closely watch that replay on the TD pass to Vincent Jackson?? Everyone of them while the ball was in the air sat there gawking at it and lollygagging. It wasn't until Wilson realized he caught it that "Oh I had better run over there and try to make a tackle". Everyone else seemed to just sit there and watch in amazement to see if he really was going to make the catch. Just incredible. The communication between these guys is so bad, after the play was over I saw someone automatically throw his hands up in the air and started the finger pointing.

Now we move onto the defensive line. Where in the world is our pass rush? When I watch other teams (like the Ravens last night), I see them running all kinds of stunts, with LB's circling around and behind. Us....all I ever see is just a straightforward pass rush. If Cameron Wake doesn't get there, forget it.

Don't get me wrong, our Offensive Line is a close 2nd but above all else, the Defense has been a major letdown and surprise to us all. If you look at Points Allowed, total yards, you name it, the Dolphins D is at the bottom of every major statisitical category.

I'm afraid it's already going to be a long season for all us loyalists. Hell, it already has been.
