Rotoworld.com is reporting that both Cowher, and Gruden are interested in the Miami job. They say Marino has told the Miami management that Cowher is "gearing up for a return", while Gruden has told many poeple in Miami that he is ready to return to the sidelines. Yes please Cowher...

But if these reports are true, he’s probably really pissed with Marino lol. Bill was pretty pissed at that report that came out late last season about his “wish list”

Cowher > Gruden IMO

But I would take either one happily

Miami's Superstars: Reggie Bush, Brandon Marshall, Jake Long, Karlos Dansby, Cameron Wake, Vontae Davis and Sean Smith (just wait), Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Mike Stanton, Gaby Sanchez, and Hanley Ramirez. :)

Gruden does not have a good history of playing or developing young QB's

I would want Cowher or Tampa Bay’s OC Greg Olsen who is credited with developing Josh Freeman

With the 15th pick, the Miami Dolphins select John Stamos....'s brother

I probably know Judo! How many of you can make the same boast?

here's what roto said

Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports ex-Steelers coach Bill Cowher and ex-Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden have “quietly planted seeds” that they’re open to a return to coaching, specifically in Miami.
Ex-Dolphins QB and current CBS studio analyst Dan Marino has reportedly been relaying to team management that Cowher is “geared up for a return.” Cowher is close with ex-Chiefs GM Carl Peterson, who has been a consultant of Dolphins owner Stephen Ross. Despite his new contract with ESPN, Gruden has reportedly told “more than a few folks” in Miami that he’ll be ready for a return to the sidelines in 2012.

They know we have talent down here

and to top it off a high draft pick to address our weakest position…QB.

Its the F’n coaching and they know it, they are coaches after all.

Timlin

Is still winning with that defense he put together not to mention that QB he drafted and startted winning straight of the bat with too.

You're pretty confident in that aren't you?

I like Cowher, the man,but he isn’t as special as he’s made out to be.As I said,he himself inherited 5 Pro-Bowlers from Chuck Noll.Given your example I guess we could also then say that Bill Cowher won with the team that Noll put together right? The truth is it goes much deeper than that.

If you’re wanting to throw praise around it should be towards Kevin Colbert,Dick LeBeau and the Rooney’s.

I never get those arguments...

So does Jeff Fisher, who has never won a SB in his 15+ years become a better candidate? Do coaches like Nick Saba, Pete Carroll, and many others that come out of college instantly better candidates? News flash: Most coaches never win a Super Bowl. The fact that Cowher won one at all is an accomplishment, not a damning statistic. He took a team that went to the playoffs 1 time in the previous 7 seasons and instantly took them to the playoffs for the next 6 years, getting to the Super Bowl in 5.

Retreads always fail... I never understand why people thought Shula would be successful in Miami or Belichick would be successful in New England.

Well at least he was the GM of those teams
