I'm Tired Of....
Hello there, first time poster but long time site reader. Before I start I would like to say that i love this site and just about all the insight people who post here. With that said, yesterday I saw the Family Guy episode where Peter Griffrin says "Do you know what reallt cranks my gears" and that brought out this little thought of mine.
I'm Tired Of....
I'm Tired Of.... Tony Sparano fist pumping so happy and excited after field goals. Its a freaking field goal, instead of being all excited and saying "good job" why dont you tell your team "shouldve done better" Mr.Sparano!
I'm Tired Of.... Seeing Yeremiah Bell being the tackler of every run and pass. Let me elaborate,. Bell is my favorite Phins player but when the SS is constantly being the tackler that just means that your DL and LB are not doing their jobs. We should be happy to have such a sure-fire tackler in Bell because if we didn't we ould be an even worst team. Next time you watch the Phins play take a notice on how often Bell has to come up for the tackle, not good!
I'm Tired Of.... Not having a single home game. Seriously, when was the last time you saw a Phins game at home where the crowd was all Phins fans? I might be overstating this i agree but it just seems so sad that we have no home field advantage!
I'm Tired Of.... Not winning home games. Nuff Said!
I'm Tired Of.... Reggie Bush!
I'm Tired Of.... Our team breaking our hearts year in and year out, we seems to be the new Detroit Lions or Cleveland Browns!
I'm Tired Of.... This franchise not taking the risk of drafting a sure bet first round QB, yes its never a given that they will be good player but damn atleast give us the chance to have a prospect come in here!
I'm Tired Of.... Seeing all these franchise thrive and have a bright future because they themselves too the risk of drafting a 1st rd QB. Detroit, Minnesota, Carolina, NY Jets, Jacksonville, and the list goes on but who's not in it? Us!
I'm Tired Of.... Dropped balls. C'mon Man!
I'm Tired Of.... Having Tightends constantly killing us down the field. I can't understand this, for the last three years we have made every TE that plays us look like Pro Bowlers!
I'm Tired Of.... Our linebackers look so awful. I am happy that i was able to witness the years of Zach Thomas and his great play because ever since its just been sad. Im looking at you Dansby!
I'm Tired Of.... Losing games because of a QB sneak on a fourth down and goal. Really think about this one, we have lost many games due to this!

Home field advantage
In case you haven’t noticed, the stadium is still full of mostly Dolphin fans. Yes, the stadium was filled with more fans yesterday than in the past because of Tebow lovers worshipping the birth of Tebow and paying respect to UF, but the stadium still had more Dolphin supports than Bronco lovers.
So, what is the problem? The crowd hasn’t exactly found reason to cheer. The crowd was into it during a close MNF game against New England. The crowd was even into it during the Houston game up until we fell flat on our face in the 4th quarter. Then we go on the road and lose 3 straight, including one to a division bottom dweller such as the Cleveland Browns, and they come back home with an 0-5 record while planning a Gator ceremony that drew extra Gator/Tebow fans to Sun Life. You expect fans to come back and cheer as loud as they can when the home team is 0-5 and honoring a college rival of many of the fans inside the stadium?
All the other “I’m so tired of” can all be wrapped up into one complaint. “I’m so tired of losing” is a good catch all and if Miami won some games, the stadium wouldn’t be so quiet and the other “I’m so tired of” complaints would disappear.

completely agree with you
but like i said “it just feels” like its that away, ive only been to one game this year so i cant speak completely for it all but im just saying from what it seems like.
What am i going to do today? Same thing i try to do everyday! Try to take over the world!!!
Pretty good list... the ones at the top for me are:
Losing on QB sneaks
TE’s killing us every year
The FGFP! – Field Goal Fist Pump (although, at least this one provides me with some amusement).
Dropped Balls – Agree, C’mon Man!
Nice first post duder.
Id stop looking at Dansby, and start looking at Soliai
Granted his job is to tie up 2 offensive linemen, bit for 12.4 million,he should not only be tying them up,but also creating penetration points for the Linebackers.
As for the dropped passes, well, that could all be summed up by two things:
1. Complacency
2. Coaching
The thing is,we have the talent,we just don’t have the will to win. The fact remains that by the time a rythym gets going, the recievers are lacadaisical in their commitments. This leads to poor play.
As far as the tight end situation goes, the assignments for our linebackers are ALL wrong, and the talent is playing out of position. Dansby is a 4-3 OLB. Wake is a 4-3 DE. Misi is a 4-3 defensive end,or a 3-4 middle linebacker. Burnett is a 4-3 middle linebacker, and last but not least,a majority of our 3-4 defensive ends are built for the 4-3 Defensive Tackle position. Not to mention that our own Jason Taylor excelled best from the 4-3 Defensive End position.
Again, this all plays into Soliai. We have no need for him with the current lineup,if in fact, they played to the personnels strengths. Thus,we would be free of such a burdonsome contract if we in fact let him go,and went with how our team would showcase its talents best.
Be it as it may, I still think we should make the switch back to the 43, especially since even our pass rush coach excelled in that very same defense. Much easier for him to coach a 43 pass rush OLB than to take him out of his area of expertise, and make him teach it to 4 LB instead of simply 3. Plus penetration would benefit from having 4 players on the line, instead of 3. Not to mention, our own linebackers coach excelled in the 43 as well.
Just my thoughts as to why we seemingly have reason to be tired, its the scheme, not the players.

Agree completely.
We have 43 personnel squeezed into a 34 scheme. You are absolutely right about soliai too, he’s getting paid big to anchor the 34 and not getting the job done. I think the best way to improve the defense quickly (like, by next season) is a) switch to the 43, b) get a quality pass rusher opposite wake, and c) get a playmaker at free safety. Even if its a guy like dawkins who is an older vet, we need a guy back there that can create positive plays (Ray Ray Armstrong is my first choice)

Ray Ray would be PERFECT
Maybe we could finally start taking advantage of some of the Miami talent (like New Orleans is doing with Jimmy Graham and Green Bay is doing with Sam Shields). He would instantly give us someone who could line up against tight ends in coverage and could (key word could) develop into a ball-hawking free safety.

Totally agree.
The only thing I may disagree with is just dumping Soliai. We should figure out a way to trade him and recoup value. If not, why not see how he works as a tackle in a 4-3?

doubtful that anyone will trade for him
he’s on a franchise tag, he’s a FA at the end of the season

You chose to read the article. If you see a Fanpost/Fanshot entitled “I’m Tired of…” then skip over it and don’t read it.
Instead, go read the posts that are entitled “Rainbows, Sunshine and Lolli-pops.” That should suit your fancy.
Oh wait…we don’t have those posts on The Phinsider. They’re reserved for winning organizations.

I'm tired of the following:
1 – Losing
2 – Horrible Coaching
3 – Losing
4 – Bad Drafts for the past decade
5 – Losing
6 – Horrible GM who couldn’t see a good personnel move to save his life
Last…but certainly not least – bringing a new meaning to the word mediocre ever since Marino retired.
End of rant.

Here is the problem up front… no NT…. LBs can’t stay clean and get swept away in the trash… If we had taken Terrence Cody last year we don’t have the problem. Our OLBs would even be getting better play and more sacks because he would be shutting down the run and making the other team one dimensional. He would push the pocket back and the QB would either need to scramble, the OLBs would collapse on him that much quicker. I said this before the draft last year and no one believed me. Soliai VERY RARELY draws a double team. He never gets any push. Mark down the number of times that we make a stop at the line of scrimmage or behind the line of scrimmage. We spot every single team 2-4 yards per carry on every single play EVEN WHEN WE KNOW THEY ARE RUNNING THE BALL. Fix NT and we have a defense like we used to have. OLBs can tee off on QBs. DBs don’t have to worry about covering forever and they can take chances jumping routes because they know they have a D-line messing things up even when they blow a coverage now and then.
What do you call a RECEIVER that doesn’t RECEIVE the ball? Can someone let me know? I think someone needs to coin a new term to describe a RECEIVER that does not catch the ball and we need to start using it when referring to our “receivers.”
SUCK FOR LUCK!! 2012 will mark exactly 13 years since Marino retired
"it will take the Dolphins 13 years to replace Dan Marino at QB"-- Omar Kelly

I was just thinking about Cody yesterday.
I was sitting in traffic listening to 640 sports and thinking about that draft and what I would have done instead. Cody was my number one pick. The question is, who is going to turn out better in the NFL, Odrick or Cody?

Terrence Cody hasn't exactly lit up the NT world on fire...
He’s been average at best and hasn’t shown any more promise than Soliai. In fact, he’s shown less.
