After an offensive explosion in Game 3, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers hit the field again tonight, with the Cardinals leading the series 2-1.
Game 3 had 28 combined hits and 23 runs scored. And, there's the obvious question of "Why do you EVER pitch to Albert Pujols?" Pujols hit three home runs on a 5-for-6 night, racking up 6 RBI.
Tonight's game will feature St. Louis' Edwin Jackson, who is 1-0 in the post season, with a 5.46 ERA - but the Cards have won all three of his post season starts - against the Rangers' Derek Holland (1-0, 5.27 ERA). Like Jackson for the Cardinals, the Rangers are 3-0 in games started by Holland.
After Games 1 and 2 pitching duels, and Game 3's run fest, what will Game 4 bring us?
Enjoy the game!
