Today is the day, MNF in NYC ( really NJ, but its close) !!! We decided to stay out of the city, and hit one of the local malls. Now it goes without saying that M.M. is a huge fan of Dan the Man,......HUGE FAN ( lol,...he's small, yet a huge fan ). So soon as we spotted one of those sports collectable stores, he dragged me in there straight away (as if I needed convincing). Getting him out of there was the problem....

However, we finally got out of there and made our way around the mall. As it turns out, M.M. & I share the same adventurous side. While I was looking at some new Vans, he decided to try out a new board....with aqua wheel of course. 

It had been a busy last few days, and tonight is sure to crazy. Time for a little relaxation.....

After a little time back in the hotel room, it was time to head out to the stadium. 

We got there way before anyone from DolFansNYC arrived. And Wifey & M.M. needed to eat....

It wasn't long before the DolfansNYC tailgate got going. And I have to say, they had a very nice turnout (75-100 people) and it was a great time. As it turns out, there were a few Marino fans in this crowd. 

Things got a little funny between M.M. and me during the party. I told him that I'ld be right back because I had to tell Wifey something. He replied "Oh no you don't,....she's mine" as he grabbed onto my leg.         

It was on the way into the stadium that I saw what was going on. Wifey was babying him, and he got mixed signals. 

I set him straight fast, "back off or I'll leave you here in NJ and we'll be down in sunny Florida". That seemed to do the trick,.....plus I informed him about the beach scene down there too. 

Anyways, we made into the game,.....and we all know how that played out. Embarrassing, totally fucking embarrassing. Do I need to go in to detail ? No,.....I thought so. But there is only so much M.M. could take, then he told me he just couldn't watch anymore. 

When it was all said & done, they kicked our ass. Period. And on our way out I looked over and to my dismay this is what I saw and heard......."Fuck those Jets ! They can eat a big shit sandwich !!!". I thought to myself,....Wow, that's kinda of extreme, but I couldn't agree more. 

 My final thought on this trip is this,...I hate the Jets, but not their fans. I met several and they all treated me with respect. One even told me early on, "if anyone messes with you, I got your back". It's good to know that even though we are bitter rivals, we can respect each other as people first. And that new stadium is really nice.

That's all for now. Tomorrow the Wifey, M.M., & myself head South to the Sunshine State. Who knows what we'll witness against Denver, but I'm going to have a good time rejoining my Deep End brethren. That much is for sure.
