I have to say that Im happy to hear Ross stepping up to the plate and at least at this point acknowledging the need for some change, lets hope he follows through and really puts it out. I know we have all talked at serious length about getting some quality FO material in the house. I think he's finally seeing the need to let a big boy like Cowher or Fischer get in there and really make some changes and clean house. That was his failing last year, IMO, trying to hold onto Ireland and letting Cowher slip by not letting him just run the show and call the shots absolutely the way he needs too. I pray from the bottom of my heart he'll open up his wallet and really lure someone good in. I wouldnt mind Fischer but Cowher would be my first choice. Who knows where we'll lie in the Luck-stakes so im going to start doing my homework on the #2 and 3 rated qb's in the draft cuz sadly I know we are going to be somewhere in that market. Plus we are going to have to look for a solid Vet to come in and mentor our new stud, and like it or not we are going to have to draft a RT high, maybe trade up for a late first rounder or early 2nd to take Columbos spot. Plus a good TE is needed. I think despite all our fail our D could be salvaged, most of it anyway, Maybe we could all get Ed Reed drunk and trick him into signing a contract with us one night. Just kidding, but we do need a good safety. Anyway. Cheers to the potential of a rising dawn for next season, too bad its just that, next season. Go Phins!
