Mini Marino ( AKA M.M. ) was all fired up on Friday. I Believe he was feeding off the energy from seeing us pack up the rig for our upcoming trip/relocation/adventure. Anyways he wanted to ride out back on one of the bikes. 

When I told him "no F'n way !" , he then proceed to lobby to drive. Not a chance I said, as I went to ask if he would use "Marino magic" to reach the gas pedal with a chuckle. 

Having busted his balls a bit, we set out for the the open road. NY was a mere 9.5 hours away when we left around 4PM on Friday. Sometime around 10:30 I decided I need to hit a rest stop and grab a few ZZZ's. It was later I discovered that many a picture of the Wifey sleeping and busting M.M. balls earlier would come back to haunt me. Oh well,.....what goes around, comes around. 

Once we arrived, we got our room and headed into the city. One of the 1st things we came across was Rockefeller Center. 

Next stop,...Central Park. Now there was plenty to see there and lots of photo ops. But I had to starch my head when he said he wanted one by Alice in Wonderland. He said it was because this season has started out like a weird dream,.....and who am I to argue with that logic. 

Next was stop was Strawberry Fields. I get it,.....peace & love. He said "no",............"imagine what this season could have been". It just about made me want to cry......

All that walking around had us a bit thirsty. So, he & Wifey shared some lemonade bought from from kids raising money for what,.......beast cancer awareness,....go figure. 

From there we headed out of the park and ended up in Virgil's BBQ down by Time Square. He dove right in,...

Dinner was good, but not great for the price. As we headed back to the bus station, with our bellies full, what do we see ???? 

Frick 'n frack ! To quote my Wifey, maybe next time. 

On a side note, as our day begun I heard Wifey talking with another gal. It was something along the lines of, " he's going to pull out that doll all day long for every picture you take" as my wife agreed and chuckled with her. I sternly replied, " he's NOT a doll. He's an action figure ! With feelings...." as I walked off. 

Who knows what adventures and sights tomorrow will bring, but rest assured you'll be in the loop....
